3. The contents page is not in the very first page, before there is a double advertisement page. This is done because it is a
double contents page to be well displayed they skip two pages so that it is not seen at the back of the cover page.
All with the same structure this characterises the magazine style(house style).
All back background, All same font and font colour. The page numbers and title always seen on the sides with in the
middle a few snap shots of what would be in certain pages, as there is the page number boldly in front of the picture.
The contents page info is categorised in themes: Fashion, tunes, feature, directory, industry insider and cue.
All is written in white to contrast with the black background
The front cover character cd tracks are advertised on the contents page.
‘Contents” is seen in a big font size which is seen trough out the magazine, they look like fluorescent lights of pubs. in
the top left of the first page which is seen at the centre is the month and year and at the top right is the magazine
name.
Information (title, cd advert, page number and titles) is separated with a long line as part .
On the top right is a small picture of the front cover with information of who was part to make the piece: Photographer,
Illustrator, stylist, Makeup, hair and clothes details(brand).
The pictures is always one very big one the left page and one medium and two small pictures on the page on the right
hand side.
Next to the page number is the date again.
In conclusion there is a lot of house style features, I find this a idea to follow forward with as it is comforting in gives you
the feeling of knowledge as you know what to expect.

4. Displayed in only one page.
“Contents” is seen on the top right hand side, it has
illustrations surround it, bringing character and fun to the style.
The illustrations are also stereotypes of rock singers: drink(
bottle) loud, public(megaphone)death and danger (skull and
snakes).
Editor gives a introduction of what you will see on the
magazine with an personal picture. I found this idea very
welcoming(House style).
Page titles are also in groups of the following categories: News,
Features, Lives, Reviews and Gigs.
At the bottom right hand side there is a special advertisement
picture.
Names of who was there to make the magazine, is written
vertically sometimes on the bottom left or the right hand side.
To decorate the page and stand out more they use yellow and
black known as warning colours.
