fire (Agni) is the root cause for most of the disease.
 Ayurvedic experts analyze Agni not only as digestive
fire, but energy behind all the metabolic processes
of the body.

 Ayurveda theory explains that an imbalance
in the three components (Tridoshas) evokes
diseases.
 In other words a disturbed equilibrium in the
constitution is the cause of illness in the body
as well as in the mind.
 Since Ayurveda is a comprehensive system of
medicine, body-mind are not separated.
WHAT IS DISEASE?

Our body is made up of 5 elements + Soul.
The 5 elements – Earth, Air, Water, Fire and
Ether make up the inorganic matter in the
universe.
There is a connection between the elements
of the universe as well as our body.

5 ELEMENTS AND UNIVERSE

 The universe is functional with its fully
energy at subconscious levels,
microscopic levels in our body.
 The energies responsible for the control,
movement, growth of universe are the
same energies which are working at
cellular levels in our body.

 It restrains and keeps the things
in the body in movement.

PRAGYA- APARADH
 Pragya means intelligence and Aparadh means crime or breaking
of a rule.
 There are many rules of healthy, happy living laid down by
nature and ancient sages and God almighty.
 God wants us to live healthy and happy but because of our
sensory organs trap, we break these laws which lead to diseases.

 We feed our tongues (Sense of taste) by spending big
money to eat at fancy restaurants to eat stale food like
Pizza, Pasta, Burgers, Noodles, Chips, Biscuits.
 We feed our sense of touch by going to various brothels
and have illicit sexual relationship with prostitutes.
 We feed our sense of sound by going to night clubs,
dance bars and so on.

but temporary pleasure.
 Too much involvement into sensory
pleasures leads to various diseases.

ROLE OF FEAR IN DISEASES
The root cause of all diseases is
the underlying fear of future.

Everybody is concerned about their
careers, property prices, gold prices,
stock market, where to invest,
which business to start, how to
bring growth in my business.

Our body is designed to handle fear in a
certain way.
It can not distinguish the thought but it
can distinguish the feelings.
There are certain ways to handle the
feeling of fear in our body.

For example, if you are going in a jungle and
a lion comes in front of you, the pituitary
gland releases various hormones to fight
that fear.
It dictates the kidneys to release Adrenalin
to increase the blood pressure towards
heart, brain, eyes and muscles.
HOW BODY WORKS IN FRONT OF A LION

The body needs to fight the lion.
So kidneys release the Adrenalin to increase
blood flow in the muscles, brain and heart.
Where this blood comes from ? The blood
comes from non-essential organs to fight
the lion.
HOW ADRENALINE AND CORTISOL WORK TO
CAUSE BP AND SUGAR

The blood comes from Digestive tract, the reproductive organs, The skin.
The blood supply to these organs is shut down or reduced to fight the
immediate emergency.
Similarly the body releases another hormone called- Cortisol to provide
energy to the muscles, heart, brain.
The cortisol immediately raises sugar levels in the blood so that brain
and muscles can burn sugar to get instant energy.

HOW THEY WORK TO CAUSE INSOMNIA,
ANXIETY, MUSCLE STIFFNESS, FATIGUE
Now a days, the fear of lion is permanent in our lives.
The body is constantly releasing adrenaline, cortisol to keep our
blood pressure high, causing palpitations in heart, causing lack of
sleep and state of emergency and alert in our brain.
This leads to lack of sleep, insomnia, stress, anxiety, restlessness.

Too much adrenaline causes increased
respiratory rate to bring in more oxygen.
The muscles are always stretched and in
state of emergency.
This leads to muscle fatigue, early morning stiffness in the body.
Too much cortisol keeps the blood sugar levels high.

The pancreas in not able to control the levels anymore and gives
away. This leads to Diabetes.
The skin is not getting enough blood supply. This leads to skin
infections and diseases.
The reproductive organs are not getting enough blood supply.
They die because of lack of nutrition.

irregular menstruation, infertility, blocked
fallopian tubes, low sperm count, erectile
dysfunction, premature ejaculation, Obesity
and thin dry skin.

circulatory system, the respiratory system,
the excretory system, the liver, kidneys,
muscles are all working on commands by
various hormones.

by the master gland – PITUITARY GLAND.
The PITUITARY GLAND responds to FEELINGS.
The FEELINGS are generated by circumstances
and thoughts.

The body collapses and there can be
even a heart attack or immediate
sorrow.
There can be vomiting, diarrhea or
flow of tears.

feeling of confidence and self
respect, feeling of love and
happiness.
