User-Oriented NC Syntax Check Conversational Programming
NC Test enables you to conduct CNC programming examinations
using the cloze test format (replace missing information). Evaluation
of the examination is done automatically at the end of the exam and
includes the calculation of the final score.
NC Test is also integrated with TopTurn and TopMill, which allows
the examinations to be created using the PC Print function embed-
ded within TopTurn and TopMill as well as visualization of the
program within the CNC Simulator.
The universal 3D tool management system TopCat is
designed for turning and milling tools, tool components,
clamping devices and machine tool components is
integrated into the MTS product line TopCam, TopMill
and TopTurn. The assembly of a tool consisting of tool
holder, extensions and cutting tool along with accurate
tool correction values corresponds to the tool assembly
operations in toolpresetting on real CNC machines.
NC Editor aids in the programing, evaluation and
understanding of CNC programs with user friendly
features not seen in other text editors.
Tied to the control language library of most CNC
control makers, the editor becomes a CNC program
“spell check” by identifying available and not
available syntax. Upon selecting a line of program
the user is shown the definition and examples of
the meaning of the line and the codes and values
within the line.
Dialogue programing is also supported giving the
editor a “conversational” programing ability by
guiding the user through the proper application of
code using English language prompts.
TopTrain - CNC
Programming
TopTrain is an eLearning module for the subject matters of CNC
Programming for CNC Machine tool operators and program-
mers.
The training content of TopTrain is supplemented by interactive
programming exercises and direct simulation of programs via
TopTurn and TopMIll so that the student can see by learning.
Because TopTrain is interconnected with TopTurn and TopMill, students can complete the example programs and see
the completed program performed on a machine within the Simulator. This allows the student to visualize what spe-
cific programming functions do and see how changing values within the program can affect the final workpiece.
