important key learning area (KLA) in the
NSW primary curriculum. It nurtures our
students to learn life skills through
physical movement and understanding the
important of healthy and safety.

3. Choosing a personal
healthy food choice
Students learn the food
chart and understand what
is good or bad for the body.
Students learn to make
healthy lifestyle choices
that will result in an
improved quality in life.
4. Encourages
understanding and
valuing of others and
self
Students learn to
maintain positive
relationships through
teamwork and thus
learn to exercise
better control over
their own lives.
5. Living a safe life
Students are taught to
understand and analyze
situations where their
personal safety is at risk.
They are given advice on
how to deal with such
situations and where they
could find help.
