2. A rainforest is a wet, warm
place. The trees leaves stay
green all year long. Its really
cramped with lots of trees. It
rains a lot. Tropical rainforests
cover 6% of the Earth.
Rainforests have 4 layers.
3. Rainforests are found on both sides of the
equator. They are found here because the
weather is warm and wet. Tropical
rainforests can be found in South America
(The Amazon), top of Australia (Daintree)
and parts of Asia. Also on an island near
Africa(Madagascar).
4. Very cramped with lots of trees.
Animals live in a community. One tree
can hold more than 1000 flowers.
There are more types of animals and
plants that live here than anywhere
else on Earth.
5. The rainforest is home to lots of animals and plants. Slow Loris, monkeys
ocelots, jaguars, macaws, frogs, snakes, humming birds and orangutans.
