1. GC4: Safe Working Practices
We ensured that all our makeup was hypoallergenic and made a note of any sensitive skin or
other skin conditions the dancers had. We cleaned our brushes after application of each look to
ensure a hygienic working environment. We checked all our products we used were in date and
safe to use. We also ensured there was no sharp equipment that could pose a hazard to the
dancers. We provided hypoallergenic wipes for the dancers. I also ensured that all the dancers’
hair was out of their faces for performance as this can block sight and therefore become a safety
hazard. I also ensured that dancers removed visible piercings as these can be a safety hazard
and also look unprofessional.
