The ComNode is Trans Data Management's VoIP communication platform, consisting of an application server for business logic and a Soft-PBX for voice routing. It supports various telephony interfaces and can be scaled through IP networking of multiple nodes. The modular system provides high availability, integrates third-party systems, and allows customizing functionality to business needs.

1. The Operational Telephony Switch from Trans Data Management
ComNode
Central to the NIS, the VoIP communication platform from Trans Data Management, the ComNode has
two main elements; business logic for specific functions on the application server, and voice routing
using the integrated Soft-PBX.
Several nodes can be networked via IP, offering easy scalability and ensuring a future-proof system.
The ComNode utilises cluster technology to ensure very high availability (in a Hot-Standby
configuration no call will be interrupted). The fully meshed connectivity in multi-node systems, keeps
the system operational even in the event of a network failure.
The ComNode supports several telecommunications interfaces (e.g. ISDN S0, ISDN E1/T1, E1 (EIRENE)
MSC, VoIP, 2-/4-wire analogue) via a range of gateways and interface cards.
The modular architecture of TDM’s NIS platform allows you to grow and adapt the system’s
functionality with your business needs.
