2. Jordan Perzik is a clinical psychology student who
also works part-time at the Cedars-Sinai Medical
Center. A member of the California State Parks
Foundation, Jordan Perzik regularly participates in
conservation and community development efforts in
Los Angeles.
Since 2014, the California State Parks Foundation has
worked closely with the Clockshop nonprofit to
promote The Bowtie Project, an initiative to revitalize
a swatch of land along the LA River. The Bowtie
Project involves bringing together local artists and
communities through a series of events to create new
art installations and raise awareness about pressing
issues.
3. On the evening of May 16, 2015, Clockshop
will host the LA River Campout, offering a
family-friendly environment to camp inside
the city and enjoy the diverse wildlife of LA
River Glendale Narrows. Courtesy of the
FamCamp program, complimentary
camping setups with tents and sleeping
gear will be available to first-time family
