Introduction This paper will be an examination of my personal study habits as a college freshman,
and an effort to discover techniques to improve my ability to learn and remember the information I

I have learned most of my study habits by watching my very successful daughter, a high school
junior with a rigorous course load making high honors, and attempting to mimic her. She has a very

I definitely learned a great deal from our discussions about this book. I really did not like it at all
until the class sat down and analyzed the many levels Conrad addressed in his story. I thought the
endless paradoxes in the book, once brought to light, were actually very interesting. My favorite
section, however, was the poetry unit. I really enjoyed the poem ?The Blues? by Billy Collins the
most because of my respect for music. I think Collins really makes a point in his poem about just
how important music is and how it allows people who are very different to connect on many
levels. I also loved ?Love Calls Us to the Things of This World? by Richard Wilbur. The imagery
in this poem was absolutely amazing, and I adored how he made the ordinary things seem mystical

Everyone has or should have an ideal; something which he can look forward to, of which he may
dream, and for which he may strive. In our colleges we come across many defects or limitations.
We often discuss these among ourselves. And in course of these discussions, and as a result of
them, we come to cherish a vague notion of what would be an ideal college, at last, what we would
regard as an ideal. Here of course I speak mostly for myself.
An ideal college, in my opinion, should consist of a building with well–lighted and spacious rooms,
an extensive playground, well–equipped libraries and laboratories, and learned teachers. These are
essential, and so I will discuss these first.
On the academic side an ideal college should have two kinds of rooms: lecture–rooms and tutorial
rooms. Lecture–rooms should be large enough to accommodate even two to three hundred students
without crowding. In these days of amplifiers, large classes should offer no real difficulty. Only
three must be plenty of light and air to prevent stuffiness. The acoustic arrangements must be such
as to put no undue strain on a lecturer's voice. Tutorial rooms should be spacious enough to
accommodate small classes of ten or fifteen students. Too many lectures are apt to become
monotonous and boring. It would be deal if the ground covered by a lecture broadly is once again
reviewed in the tutorial classes in greater detail and with an eye to individual difficulties of students.

Expectations and Goals As a new freshman, the next four years of my life can seem extremely
daunting, with huge possibilities as to the kind of person that I want to be when I graduate.
College is known as a transformation period in the life of a young adult, and I hope to take full

because I can regularly check my grades to make sure that I am staying on track with each class
to attain this goal. I believe that getting all A's is also achievable is I remained focused and
driven, delegating ahead of time the study time that I will need to be successful in each of my
classes. For each hour that I spend in a class, I will plan on spending at least three hours outside of
class with the covered material to be successful. This can be realistic if I am careful to make sure
that I don't commit myself too heavily to extracurricular activities. While I will be checking my
grades weekly, half–way through the semester I will evaluate my study strategies, and whether they
were successful or need to be changed to stay on target. Ultimately, I would like to see myself
meet this goal at the end of the semester and carry the habits that I have learned to the rest of my
college career. Spiritually, I know that this time is quintessential in the establishing of my faith and

divorced her. Her mother had custody, but she was seldom around. My friend raised herself. She
gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "putting yourself through school", but she was in middle
school. However, she had a dream of something better and it was evident that it required
self–motivation and determination.

I Am An Best Candidate For This Program
I believe that I am an excellent candidate for this program. For me, school is a top priority. I
always strive to be my best, and my G.P.A. proves my point. I put 100% effort into everything I
do. I am not nervous to talk to adults, and address any questions I have. To be at this high of a
level of difficulty demands hard work and devotion, and I have those qualities. There is so much in
this program that will help me succeed in life. First of all, this program will help me graduate college
a year earlier than the rest of my class. I am already young for my grade, so if I am involved in this
program I will graduate college at the age of 20 years old. I will be two years younger than most
my graduating class. This will help progress me in life, and give me a jump start. Also, the
financial help is huge to me. In my family, the burden of paying for college is placed on the
children. I have a job, and a special bank account, and every paycheck that I get goes into that
account to make sure I have money for college. But, if I got into this program, the stress of paying

high school, I am going to go to Muskegon Community College and receive my associate 's degree,
and then transfer to a state school where I will achieve my masters degree. My ultimate career

What College Are You Going To Essay
So recently I've come across the question "What college are you going to?". The truth is, what I
want to do doesn't have a college. To be even more honest, it doesn't even have a job. What I want
to do with my life is more of a goal. And that goal is to entertain people, give people something to be
inspired of and want to do more. At the age of 11, I taught myself how to produce. I first learned
how to DJ at 9, but the reason why I didn't enjoy DJing is because I felt it didn't give the freedom
of producing. I believe I have something that a lot of people don't have. I have the motivation and

The fact that I believe in myself so much to argue that I don't need to go to college, I know that I
have the drive and the motivation to do what's best for me and my future. I had this conversation
with many people. One of those people including my mom. At first, she really didn't follow
because she said that she regrets not staying in college for the college experience. But the first
thing that came to my mind when I heard college experience is parties. And the truth is I don't
want to be surrounded by people who distract me from my creative process. I would rather spend
my time productively bettering myself in my producing career. I've heard before that I can still go
to college for music production, but the reason why I never thought of that is because I taught
myself and I don't have any guidelines. I have the creativity to come up with anything and work
with it. I believe that if I go to school and learn how to produce, I will have a guideline and I'll keep
