https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_cIRSM5bQE
How to solve profit?
Sample
Computation
For example, you want to make a folding table and you want to
sell it with a 20% mark-up in addition to your capital or cost of
expenses.
Materials Cost
Wood (Palo China) 1x21x 21 ft. Ᵽ 180.00
Sand paper (5pcs/30 each) Ᵽ 150.00
Nails (1/2” size – 80.00/k) Ᵽ 40.00
Varnish (1bottle) Ᵽ 60.00
Paint brush Ᵽ 20.00
Labor Ᵽ 25.00
Utilities Ᵽ 100.00
Total Ᵽ 595.00
Cost of item - Ᵽ 595.00
Mark-up – 20%
Ᵽ 595.00 x .20 = Ᵽ 119.00 (Mark-up)
Selling Price = Ᵽ595.00 + Ᵽ119.00 = Ᵽ714.00
No. of Folding table sold = 2 x Ᵽ 714.00
Total Sales = Ᵽ1,428.00
Total Expenses - Ᵽ1,190.00
Total Profit Ᵽ 238.00
Compute the selling price & possible income
**use 20% as mark-up price
Project: Shoe Rack
Pieces: 5
Cost of Materials: Php 3000
Labor: Php 200
What is the selling price?
What is the possible income?
