Differentiation Baby ABOUT JILLIAN Jillian Walker (www.jillianwalker.ca) is an award-winning HR professional, driven Generation Y and natural born leader. Jillian works with local leaders to become better leaders, while working with employees to become their best selves. She has proven herself to be a thought leader in the realm of employee engagement and strategic HR and in 2010, she was selected by McMaster University as one of the top students in Canada in predicting how work will look in 2040. Jillian continually challenges past history, while pushing people and organizations to grow. Whether hosting a workshop, brainstorming with a business student club, or working one-on-one with a high achiever, Jillian’s goal is to encourage others to think differently. She is on the Business Advisory Board for SIFE Simon Fraser and SFU’s HR Association. Jillian has been involved with Junior Chamber International (www.jci.cc) and the UN’s Nothing But Nets campaign since 2008. In 2009, she represented Canada at the Junior Chamber International World Congress in Tunisia, while in 2010, she led Team Canada to win the World Debating Championship for English speaking at the World Congress in Japan.
