This document describes the quality control system (DQS) used by Decno Flooring for their laminate flooring production. DQS involves multiple stages of quality checking and testing before, during, and after production. This includes checking raw materials, monitoring the production process, and performing tests on finished products to check for defects and ensure dimensional accuracy. DQS aims to address all customer concerns regarding laminate flooring quality.

Determination of thickness
Using the micrometer, calliper gauge or any other equivalent tool, measure the thickness at a distance of 20
mm from the edges of the surface layer, at points located in each corner and in the middle of each long side
(only four corner points if length < 600 mm)

Using the appropriate calliper gauge or any other equivalent tool, measure the length of the surface layer
along two lines parallel to the axis of the test specimen, at a distance of 20 mm from the long sides

Determine the initial thickness of the test specimens perpendicular on the extreme edges at the six points
indicated in Figure G.2. Place the two test specimens in the water bath as illustrated in Figure G.3. Remove
the test specimens after 24 h ± 15 min, and dry them with a towel. Determine the final thickness of the
test specimens perpendicular on the extreme edges at the same six measuring points.
