We used two microscopes, dissecting and compound. In my case, I used the dissecting microscope and observed different leaves such as Maltese Cross, Lotus and grass. Basically I turned the microscope on, put the leaves on the base, added light, and observed the leaves on the computer through the program Q Capture. Finally, we did a presentation which showed the different structures of the leaves. The lab familiarized us with the operation of the microscope and showed us how the veins and structure of leaves are.<br />
