7. MEGA INTEGRATED TEXTILE PARK
Merging the Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) and Integrated
Processing Development Scheme (IPDS) , Union Govt of India, in 2021 budget,
announced 7 Mega Integrated Textile and Apparel Zone to be developed across
India.
Tamilnadu has huge potential for establishing atleast 2 Project at appropriate
location.
The aim of the Scheme is to encourage groups of entrepreneurs to come together
and establish Integrated Textile Parks (ITP’s) with world-class Manufacturing and
Critical infrastructure and Common Amenities.
GoI will provide 40% of project cost not exceeding Rs. 400 Cr as grant/equity-
improving viability and need based
State government as facilitator will provide 25% of the project cost not exceeding
Rs 25 crores and required Statutory Clearances in Single Window

The Park will have 2,00,000 Direct Employment
The Turnover of the Park will be at Rs 30,000 Cr Turnover.
The quantum of State GST from the park after Holiday period of 5 years,
will be Minimum Rs 500 Cr per year.
An affordable Township for 50,000 Families can be established in the Periphery of the
Park.
