Micro teaching is a teaching technique introduced by D.W. Allen in which a teacher teaches a small lesson to a small group for a short period of time. It involves planning a lesson, teaching it, getting feedback, revising the plan based on feedback, reteaching, and getting additional feedback in an iterative process to improve teaching skills on a smaller scale before teaching full classes.
