การแนะนาบุคคลที่สาม

2. ในการเข้าสังคมบางครั้งเราไม่ได้ไปคนเดียว อาจมีสามี ภรรยา หรือเพื่อน
ติดตามไปด้วย จึงเป็นมารยาทในการที่จะแนะนาบุคคลเหล่านี้ให้รู้จักกับผู้ที่เรา
พบปะในงาน โดยแนะนาชื่อของทั้งสองฝ่าย แล้วควรบอกข้อมูลทั่วไปของฝ่าย
หนึ่งให้กับอีกฝ่ายหนึ่งทราบ เพื่อเป็นการเปิดช่องทางให้ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้เริ่มพูดคุย
กัน โดยใช้ประโยคต่อไปนี้

3. ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมของผู้ที่ถูกแนะนำ
• He / She is our / marketing manager / sales supervisor.
• He / She is a colleague of mine form ชื่อ / ประเทศ / ชื่อบริษัท

ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมของผู้ที่ถูกแนะนา

5. ในการแนะนาบุคคลที่สาม พึงระลึกถึงหลักการง่ายๆ คือ แนะนาผู้มีอาวุโสน้อยให้
รู้จักกับผู้มีอาวุโสกว่าก่อน และแนะนาสุภาพบุรุษให้รู้จักสุภาพสตรีก่อน แต่หาก
สุภาพสตรีมีอาวุโสน้อยกว่าหรือสถานภาพทางสังคมด้อยกว่าสุภาพบุรุษ ก็ต้อง
แนะนาผู้น้อยให้รู้จักผู้ใหญ่ก่อน
• ตัวอย่างเช่น เรำจะแนะนำ Andrew เพื่อนของเรำให้รู้จักกับ Mrs.
Brown ซึ่งเรำไม่ค่อยคุ้นเคย เรำก็จะใช้ประโยคที่เป็นทำงกำรเมื่อพูดกับ
Mrs. Brown และแบบไม่เป็นทำงกำรเมื่อพูดกับ Andrew เช่น
Andy, I want you to meet Mrs. Brown. She is the
company’s personal manager. And Mrs. Brown,
I’d like to introduce Andrew Morton, a friend of mine.

6. Example: การแนะนาอย่างเป็นทางการ Formal
