a.) Create a list of 10 commandments that you may use a set of ethical standards for your
students in Mathematics (with ICT).
TEN COMMANDMENTS IN USING ICT IN MATHEMATICS
1. If you have given a topic in Mathematics, thou shall not copy all the contents on
the internet and paste on your reported topic without the authorization from other
people`s copyright.
2. Thou shall use an easy and free downloaded educational software or
mathematical software as long as with the authorization from the maker of that software
and the teacher`s referral or instruction.
3. Thou shall read the guidelines and proper procedures before using the download
mathematical software in making computations, calculations and formulas.
4. Thou shall not steal anyone`s mathematical output, such as (report a topic in
statistics with computations, proved theorems (Geometry) presented in MS PowerPoint
etc…). Possess originality.
5. Thou shall not make any negative criticisms regarding on other students/people
in making mathematical output and presentation, instead give praise.
6. Thou shall abide rules and set limitations in using mathematical software when
the teacher gives instructions.
7. Thou shall respect other`s mathematical output/presentation.
8. Thou shall be careful in downloading various mathematical softwares because
some softwares contain computer viruses and offers donation in terms of cash. Choose free
download software.
9. Thou shall share your ideas, knowledge on other students/people on how to use
the mathematical software.
10. Thou shall seek advice from the teacher and other students/people in dealing
with the software or shall identify the disadvantages and advantages in using it.
