Market Segmentation and Product Positioning
The ultimate goal of market plan for my product is making most popular chicken franchise chain
restaurant first in the U.S and then in the world 1. Identify the marketing segment for the product
and explain why this segment was selected;
My product will be Korean style soy source fried chicken. It is kind of popular food in Korea
especially, chicken business field. The uniqueness of product concept is simple. Comparing to
Kentucky fried chicken, this chicken is fried by oil with soy source and other auxiliary ingredients.
The other condition of business will be basically very similar to KFC.

Therefore, this food needs to enlarge from specific small target to whole American. Base on the
cook method and ingredients of this food, the main target will be Asian include Korean and
Hispanic. First of all, this fried chicken is cooked by garlic, paper, also excepting soy source.
Therefore, there is good possibility for familiar taste for Hispanic people. Additionally, they are big
customer for chicken market. Location of chain branches will be downtown for common reason for
business. To sum up, ultimately enlarging for target customer range to American, the main target
customer will be Korean and Asian and Hispanic. 3. Conduct a SWOT (strengths, weakness,
opportunities and treats) analysis for the company;
Strengths: fried chicken is most popular item in food area. Probably very few countries' people do
not eat chicken some religious reasons. Fried chicken market is already well built in the world. If I
assume to start this business in this country, there are big portion of customer groups who have
favor in fried chicken, either. It already quiet succeed in Asian chicken market, so at least, from
Asian who live in this country this food gained big possibility.
Weakness: brand awareness is very low, so letting know about this product is most urgent matter for
this business. The cost for advertisement will be extremely high. In addition to the high cost, there is

Burrito Research Paper
I was a huge fan of Los Burritos Tapatios and it was the greatest burrito place I tried. As you first
enter the store you are met by friendly staff and the smell of chicken and steak on the grill. Then you
are asked to order at a very fair price of $6.75. Then you are seated and given complimentary chips
with salsa (which are delicious I might add). After 5 minutes, you are served the chicken burrito as it
is fresh off the grill. As you take the first bite you are out sounded at the flavor of the chicken as it is
smoky and crispy, the tomatoes which add to the acidity of the burrito, and finally the soft flour
tortilla which practically melts in your mouth. After the initial mouth you take a bite of the burrito
with salsa and are amazed that

Descriptive Essay About Northern Pines Restaurant
Northern Pines Restaurant; Mediocre at best
Looking for a new place to eat that is affordable and food that tastes amazing? If so, Northern Pines
is not for you!! Do not be deceived by what is perpetrated on the web. Upon internet investigation,
The Northern Pines Restaurant is a "relaxed go–to for all–day American fare" with a 4.3/5 rating I
was expecting a lot more than what was presented to me. The main reasons I was ill–fated by this
restaurant was the eerie atmosphere, price of the food, and the overall poor service I experienced.
To begin with, the atmosphere was all but welcoming. Being new to the Flagstaff area, I was unsure
of the location of this diner. When I arrived there, I was immediately confused on if I was given the
correct address because the place I had arrived at looked rather scary. Northern Pines was a small
diner located between two sleazy hotels surrounded by three gas stations and a pub. The exterior
was unsettling to say the least with the lack of lights except for one fluorescent green light that made
me feel like I was in a bad indie horror flick. The inside, while slightly better, did not give off the
impression I had been hoping. When I walked in I was immediately engulfed by a smell similar to
my grandmothers' closet, choosing to ignore it, I realized while how off putting the smell, it was not
necessarily a death–sentence. Another reason the atmosphere was very uncomfortable was due to
the loudness of the workers there. For example, the

KFC in United States and KSA
KFC, still referred to by some as Kentucky Fried Chicken, is a well–recognized international fast
food chain that started as a gas stop diner in Kentucky. Due to the immense popularity, KFC
restaurants are succeeding in their routine business throughout the world including United States
and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The reason for their success lies in the fact that they have followed a
preplanned strategy. Through these strategies, they have produced remarkable growth in the past
five years. KFC is one of the few brands that continues to profit even during global economic crisis.
Using SWOT, PESTLE, and also Porters five force analysis, it has been revealed that KFC is
consistently increasing sales and expanding into a larger global market.
INTRODUCTION
KFC is one of the most world famous chains of fast food because of the quality of food provided
and menu of this restaurant. KFC was found by the Colonel Harland Sanders when he was facing
life challenges. He had a bad past in his life and he faced a lot of difficulties. At the start, he did not
have much to offer in the way of products for the restaurant. The headquarters of KFC headquarters
are located in Kentucky. KFC is famous for offering salads, chicken pieces, wraps, and sandwiches.

Life For Harland David Sanders
Life for Harland David Sanders was not easy. He was born on September 9, 1890 in Henryville,
Indiana to a rather unfortunate family. He was the oldest of three children, having a younger brother
named Wilbur and younger sister named Margaret. Their source of income was initially from a part
time job that his father had, running errands for farmers around Henryville. His mother stayed home
and took care of the kids while their father was working. However, this all changed in 1896 when
Harland was just 6 years old. His father came back from work one day with a fever, and died later
that day. This meant that his mother had to go find a job, and Harland had to drop out of school take
care of his younger siblings. His mother found a job at a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This led to Harland running away from home at the age of 15 because he did not want to deal with
his stepfather anymore. He decided that since he was not home anymore, he would volunteer to be
in the U.S. Army. He served a full term in the army, ending his service in Cuba. After his military
days, he was on his own and had to find a job for himself. He found a job as a U.S. railway fireman,
and it gave him a fairly stable income. After about a year of this job, he found that he wanted to
settle down and start a family. So in 1908, Harland married Josephine King. They had three children
together, 1 boy and two girls. They named the boy Harland Jr. after his father, and the girls Mildred
and Margaret. They lived a happy life as a family for a while, until Harland got fired from his
fireman position for insubordination. Now Harland Sanders had no source of income and a family to
support. This made it too hard for the family, so Josephine decided she would leave him. She took
the kids with her and just like that, Harland was on his own again. He took up many different
occupations, similar to what he did in his childhood, after his family left. He earned enough money
to stay happy for a while, and even saved up enough money to make purchases that would benefit
him and his future careers. When Harland Sanders was 40 years of age, he had saved up enough
money to buy a service station in the town of Corbin, Kentucky. At his service station, he had living

University Galleries
On September 18,2017 I visited the University Galleries located at Texas State University had an
amazing piece of art on display called The Last Supper: 700 Plates Illustrating Final Meals of U.S.
Death Row Inmates created by Julie Green. Once entering the exhibit the viewers' attention focuses
on the deep black letters painted onto the wall, revealing the statistics of the death penalty in the
United States. Moving throughout the room the inmates last meals were painted onto ceramic plates
varying in size and style. Julie Green displayed the ceramic plates in a thick horizontal line on all
four walls of the exhibit giving the viewers' an understanding for each meal. Specifically on plate 66
the artist caught my attention with the color, texture, and lines illustrated throughout the ceramic
plate. The plate was from an inmate in California who requested white meat chicken from Kentucky

On plate 66 there was a great amount of value painted onto the plate displaying different tints and
shades throughout. The face on the Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket had a light tint mainly around
the cheekbone, opposed to the eyes and mustache had a dark shade. In addition, the sugar–free
pecan pie had a dark shade towards the center of the pie with a light tint on the crust making a great
contrast with each other. Shifting to color intensity on the ceramic plate, it was very muted giving
the viewers a gloomy, and depressing feeling. The artist most likely did this due to the fact it was the
last time the prisoners were going to enjoy a meal before being executed. Proceeding to the last
component of color, which is hue. Julie Green used different shades of blue to express how serious
the death penalty was, and to show how many people are executed in the United

The Way Of Wealth By Benjamin Franklin
In 1758 in his financial advisory book The Way to Wealth, Benjamin Franklin is quoted to have
said, "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest" ("An Investment in Knowledge Pays the
Best Interest"). Ironically, and somewhat surprisingly, the wealthy, Boston–born inventor, statesman,
politician, and writer (among numerous other professions) never completed schooling past the age
of ten, as he was pulled from formal education at grammar school in 1716 to become an apprentice
to his brother, a printer by trade ("Benjamin Franklin"). Even more astonishing is the fact that many
of the self–made billionaires on the Forbes 400 list, like Mark Zuckerberg, never completed college
or even set foot on a college campus. People on this list have gone on the create giants, like
Microsoft (Bill Gates), DreamWorks SKG (David Geffen, who holds $5.5 billion in his name), and
Carnival Cruises (Micky Arison) ("The Self–Made Billionaire Entrepreneurs Who Said No To
College"). Perhaps education from college, high school, or another kind of formal education is not
what it takes to become successful and massively well–off in the world. High school seems to be a
time in a person 's education where he strives to make straight A 's and complete classes to the best
of his ability, in the high hopes that one day he can perhaps become a successful businessman, CEO,
or mogul and raise a family without having to take money for granted. However, readers may be

KFC Extra Crispy Sunscreen
Situation
Kentucky Fried Chicken has recently gone through a branding remodel. Through this remodel, KFC
learned that 76.5 percent of their customers were unaware that KFC offered an Extra Crispy Fried
Chicken Recipe. Customers only associated KFC with their Original Recipe meaning that if they
were looking for a crispier fried chicken option then they may go to another restaurant. KFC saw
this lack of knowledge as an opportunity to educate their customers and other people that KFC does
in fact offer an extra crispy recipe. KFC found that millennials were not typically engaged with their
brand, so they also wanted to develop a campaign that reached the millennial audience. With Labor
Day weekend approaching, KFC saw it has their opportunity to leverage the last summer holiday.
Objectives
This campaign included an output objective, informational objective, and behavioral objective.

Chick-Fil-A Customer Analysis Essay
Chicken Burger Today's society focuses more than ever on living a healthier lifestyle. What better
way to satisfy the consumers need for a juicy beef burger than creating the healthy alternative with a
chicken burger. 100% ground chicken breast accompanied with a whole wheat bun is just what the
consumer needs! The idea of the chicken burger could have endless options. For example, the All
American Chicken Burger features American cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion or the Cajun Chicken
Burger features Blackened Chicken Burger, Swiss, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion. STDP Segmentation
According to Chick–Fil–A's website, they have no intention of going global at this time. There
geographic segmentation is to expand with in the United States, primarily focusing on the
Southeastern U.S. (Chickfila2, 2016). Chick–Fil–A holds 20% of the market share in chicken
restaurants and has a target audience of females between the ages of 18–44 who live in a Southern
region of the U.S (Meister et al., 2012). The women are mostly made up African American, Asian

Their stance is to take a more offensive approach to comparing themselves to their competitors and
emphasizing consumers choosing Chick–Fil–A because of their healthier options (Meister et al.,

increase their sponsorship at sporting events in hopes of targeting their loyal audiences. Currently,
Chick–Fil–A sponsors the Big 12 Conference in college football which is primarily in the South.
However, they plan to begin sponsoring college basketball to target their Northeastern consumers

Rhetorical Analysis Of Kentucky Fried Chicken
Kentucky fried chicken, also known as KFC, have made many commercials over time. This analysis
is on a specific old commercial, sadly of unknown age, but probably from around 1950–1960. The
commercial in question is found on YouTube, and it's made in USA. KFC is a fast food chain that
sells fried chicken, amongst other things, and is especially popular is the US.
To summarize the commercial it starts with a few women being displayed, all thinking about what
to serve for dinner. Luckily Colonel Sanders has the answer, they show a clip from one of the many
KFCs in the country and show the chicken being made. A family then sits down and happily enjoys
a meal of Kentucky fried chicken and at the end of the clip, a special two for one price is ... Show

The fact that they have a special price is great, but just putting a picture on the screen is not what we
want to see. As mentioned before, the music is suiting to the commercial, however it hasn't any
excitement to it. In the whole, the clip has an old feel to it, in a negative way. It is an old
commercial, which makes it rather obvious that it will look old, but that part is not appreciated by
everyone today.
There are a few things that could be modified to make it better, for example the special price. To
make it more interesting, it should be moving after a few seconds, for instance display someone
enjoying the two for one meal. The ancient feeling is a bit hard to remove without remaking the
entire commercial today, but maybe that's a good thing. This commercial isn't like the rest and
perhaps that's what people like about it. If I received the chance to make some small adjustments I
would probably start with finding them a catchphrase.
To wrap it all up, KFC has really succeeded with this commercial, it's convincing and looks
delicious. There is a slight problem though, I'm a vegetarian, therefore I won't buy the product. I
also happen to know the truth behind the meat industry and do not wish to support it. My opinions
however, do not have anything to do with the commercial, and if I wasn't aware of all this, I would
probably buy the Kentucky fried

Emotional Analysis Of KFC
Commercial analyze – KFC
I have chosen to analyze an old commercial from KFC. I do not know from which year the
commercial is from but the commercial is from the USA. The type of product in the commercial is
fast food and more specific fried chicken. In the commercial there is no obvious slogan, but they say
Kentucky fried chicken which I think is the slogan in this commercial.
The target audience for the commercial is Housewives and their family. The commercial needs to
get attention from people in general because they are the people that is supposed to eat the fried
chicken, but it also need to get attention from the housewives since they are making the food in the
households.
To summarize the commercial music is played in the background through the whole commercial.
The commercial starts with showing some scenes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These two arguments are supposed to give the audience more information so they want to buy the
food. While they talk about how the food is made and seasoned they use an emotional argument, to
get the audience feel that they want to eat the food." ... so whenever you are pressed for time..." this
line is also an emotional argument, they want the audience to feel the feeling when they do not got
so much time. And the feeling of in that kind of situations it would be nice with food from Kentucky
Fried Chicken.
I do not think that the commercial objectify anyone. Because objectifying is when you use a person
as an object instead of a person, which is not shown in the commercial. Stereotypes is something
that is used in the commercial. That the housewives got the responsibility for the household to take
care of the house and make the food is a stereotype for women. Another stereotype that you can fins
in the commercial is only white

This is a type of a mass–produced food that is prepared and served very quickly. The food is less
nutritional compared to other foods and dishes. This refers to food sold in a restaurant or a store

The history of fast food
The concept of ready cooked food for sale is closely connected with urban development. Homes in
cities always lacked proper food. Additionally, procuring cooking fuel could cost as much as

Essay On Japan Labor Shortage Advantages And Disadvantages
Challenges that created by country characteristics:
1.High land prices
Japan is an island country(see in figure 1), the land area is only 378,000 square kilometers. Land is
in short supply, especially in the business district in Japan. And the price is absolutely the most
prohibitive all around the world. This is one of the major obstacles to business expansion in Japan.
Possible measures to deal with shortages include open stores dedicated to delivery, the
establishment of standard stores in lower rental areas, or the development of more profitable shops
with smaller kitchen areas.
Figure 1
2. Labor shortage and Japanese labor practices
Because of the lack of young workers from structural rather than temporal changes, including the
decline in the birth rate of Japan, labor shortages for the fast food industry becomes a serious
problem. Fast food industry mainly relies on high school graduates and college students part–time
staff. Half of the full–time employees, including the managers, are college graduates.
Therefore, management must provide them with the benefits of Japanese employment practices,
such as the seniority system and the lifetime employment system. Management must also be

mid–century. Harland Sanders opened Kentucky Fried Chicken in 1952 and sold southern–style
biscuits on his menu. Hardees was founded in 1960 and "pioneered the market for breakfast biscuits,
served at the drive–through." Hardees started to bake their biscuits from scratch in 1970, then in

all the insults that can be lobbed at a cook's biscuits (there's no shortage), calling them dry is the

Mt. View Citgo's biscuits are definitely big enough to be called cathead, and cook Cindy Bradley

The graphical scenario indicates the Sales in 1996. According to the graph, KFC grasped $4000
billion. Boston market embraced $1200 billion sales, Popeye's Chicken enjoyed $700 billion sales,
Chick–Fil–A sold $550 billion and Church's Chicken got the chance to sell $500 billion. SWOT
analysis
STRENGTHS
* KFC continued to dominate the Chicken Segment, with sales of 4.4 billion in 1999. * Despite gain
by Boston Market and Chick–fill A, KFC customer base remained loyal to the KFC brand because
of its unique taste. * KFC has continued to dominate the dinner and take out segment of the
Industry. * Strong trademarks recipes. * Ranks highest among all chicken restaurant chains for its
convenience and menu variety. * Generate $1B each year
WEAKNESSES
* KFC was loosing market share as other Chicken chain increased sales at a faster rate. * KFC share
of Chicken Segment sales fell from 71 percent 1989, to less than 56 percent in 1999, a 10–years
drop of 15 percent. * KFC leadership in U.S market was so extensive that it had fewer opportunities
to expand its U.S restaurant base, which was only growing at about 1 percent per year. * Failed to

Applebee's Evaluation Essay examples
Eatin' Good in the Neighborhood As my girlfriend and I pull into a crowded parking lot during a
chilly Friday evening, we struggle to find a spot of our own, but manage to do so as we take the
place of another young couple as they pull out to leave. I put the car in park as we both gaze at the
numerous parties walking into the restaurant. A bright sign, hung lit overhead, shining the phrase
"Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill" atop a red brick building. Awnings were placed above
every window, and resting on the ground, between each window, was a wooden park bench
surrounded by lush, green foliage on either side. The whole place looked as if it had been pulled
straight from a friendly neighborhood in the heart of the big apple. I ... Show more content on

I was already pleased with the experience thus far, but it would only get better upon meeting Sheila.
"Hi guys, welcome to Applebee's, my name's Sheila. I'll be your waitress tonight. Is there anything I
can get you guys to drink?" A very cliché, and well rehearsed line, but it was pleasantly delivered,
and I did in fact feel welcome. She was quick to the table, adding to the speed of the service that we
were already receiving. I ordered my usual tall glass of water with a single lemon wedge, and my
girlfriend asked for a classic lemonade. She promised that they'd be right out, and within minutes, I
heard the clinking of ice, as two oversized glasses, dripping with condensation were placed onto our
table. Sheila laid down some straws and asked if we were ready to order. I informed her we'd be
needing a moment, as there were so many menu items, and my mouth watered for such a variety, I
needed more time to choose. She smiled and left us to decide as she politely greeted a new party that
was walking through the door. I was highly impressed with the staff here. They added to the warm
and inviting ambience commonly experienced at Applebee's restaurants, and I was loving every
minute of it. Our minds were made up, as I decided to press my luck with one of Applebee's own
signature classics, Fiesta Lime Chicken. My girlfriend chose to play it safe and went with a

Essay about Kfc Corporation V. Marion-Kay Company, Inc.
KFC Corporation v. Marion–Kay Company, Inc.
620 F.Supp. 1160, Web 1985 U.S. Dist. Lexis 14766
The Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation (KFC) is the franchisor of KFC restaurants. KFC's
registered trademarks and service marks include "Kentucky Fried Chicken," "It's Finger Lickin'
Good," and the portrait of Colonel Harlan Sanders. KFC grants licenses to its franchisees to use
these marks in connection with the preparations and sale of "Original Recipe Kentucky Fried
Chicken." Original Recipe Kentucky Fried Chicken, which is sold only by KFC franchisees, is
prepared by a special cooking process featuring the use of a secret recipe seasoning known as "KFC
Seasoning." This blend of seasoning was developed by KFC's founder, Colonel Harlan ... Show

Marion–Kay filed a counterclaim, alleging violation of antitrust law. The issue in this case is
whether or not Marion–Kay acted ethically in selling its seasoning to the KFC franchisees. The rules
of law in this case are 1) the violation of the Lanham Trademark Act (which provides for
registration of trademarks and service marks to prohibit others from misusing these marks) through
false descriptions and representation of Marion–Kay seasoning products to KFC franchisees of
"Kentucky Fried Chicken" restaurants and that Marion–Kay tortuously interfered with KFC's
contractual relations with its franchisees, and 2) Section 1 of the Sherman Act which prohibits
contracts, combinations, and conspiracies in restraint of trade. The application of law was the ruling
that in a situation involving the sale of franchise items, there can be no unlawful tying arrangement
absent some proof that there has been a sale of two separate products. In this instance, the tied
product was manufactured pursuant to a secret formula, in which the trademark actually served as a
representation of the end product marketed by the franchisor to which the public expects. The Court
was precluded from finding that the trademark was a separate product from the allegedly tied item
because the trademark itself and the quality of the end product are identified as a single item.
In conclusion, Marion–Kay did not act ethically by selling its seasoning to the KFC franchisees
because it

Good Ol' Southern Food: The Ins and Outs of Preparing a Southern Feast
There is just something about Southern Cooking, something about the women who've mastered it,
and something about what it represents. A Southern Feast represents time spent in careful
preparation and an almost entire region of people that didn't get the memo about cholesterol.
Southern cooking brilliantly displays a community that still remains untouched by at least some of
the craziness in the world around us. Things move a little slower in the South, and one of those
things is the cooking. Preparing a Southern feast is a job. It is hard work, and it takes some time, but
that is part of the charm. This cooking is the kind that allows for sitting around canning ... Show

Because frying is virtually the same for most meats, we will focus on the art of frying chicken.
Begin with the batter. This can consist of a plethora of things. My grandmother, who spent her entire
life in the south, always took flour and then added salt and pepper. She then took the chicken
straight to the frying pan. Naturally, I think this is the correct way to do it, but there are others. For
example, many people find that dipping the chicken in raw egg helps the flour stay on better. While
I have never actually seen this done, I have heard that is how 'Hardees' batters their chicken.
(Complete instructions are listed below.)
The next and most important step is the cooking. This brings us to that lard. Now for the health
conscious, olive oil is a far better alternative, but for the true southerner, lard is the only way to go.
You just don't get pretty brown chicken any other way. In a hot skillet, add two or three big scoops
of lard. Once it melts and is hot, add the chicken. Place a pinch of flour in the skillet, if it sizzles,
then you will know the oil is ready. Try to keep a safe distance away, as you are apt to get stung a bit
by the flying grease. Of course at some point you will have to get close enough to turn it, but avoid
direct eye contact if at all possible. The chicken should begin to turn white on top. Turn the chicken
to the other side and allow to cook. For best results, something like tongs

Food Choices In American Culture: Food And Culture
Food and Culture In American culture, we typically center our food choices around american
options such as burgers, fries, chicken fried steaks, and chicken tenders. However, I decided to seek
out a food from a culture that differs than my American background. I sought out a restaurant that
served and Indian cuisine and one that I wouldn't usually try. I decided Indian for the reason that I
love spice in food and the spice that the Indian culture uses in their food should really compliment
the food. The restaurant that I found was called Taco Naan, which combines cultures and serves
food that cater to Mexican and Indian cultures.

I decided to sample their tacos, which were small street tacos, to see how the two cultures differed
in terms of taste and cohesion with the tortilla and lime. At first look, the tacos looked very delicious
and prepared very well that complimented their smell. The chicken curry and chicken 65 tacos were
my first dishes to be eaten as they looked and smelled authentic and delicious. The chicken curry
taco was very satisfying to my taste buds as the curry brought the spice and the taste and juice of the
lime kicked it up a notch. Chicken curry is a common food that is typically eaten in South Asia and
Southeast Asia. Chicken curry would, usually, never be put with a Mexican dish as it is usually
served by itself with some potatoes and or rice. The next taco that I ate was the chicken 65 taco,
which is also a common Indian delicacy. This taco was very spicy as chicken 65 is commonly
prepared with many spices. As with the chicken curry taco, this dish was very pleasing and delicious
as the spice of the chicken 65 blended amazingly with the tortilla and lime. Chicken 65 originates
from the city of Chennai, India but its name has many different theories as to where it comes from.
People claim to say that the name, chicken 65, comes from the way that the food is prepared and
cooked. They claim that when chicken 65 is being cooked, it gains its spice by being mixed with 65
red peppers and other spices. Others claim that it comes from the number that this dish was given on
the original menu in 1965 at the Buhari Hotel restaurant. Overall, these Mexican–Indian dishes
tasted very delicious and looked very authentic. The third taco that I decided to taste and sample
was the barbacoa taco. This taco was very delicious as it is a common Mexican dish usually served
with pico de gallo and other spices. After eating all of the tacos, I can gladly say I very much
enjoyed the

A Restaurant At Clanton 's Cafe
In the small town of Vinita, Oklahoma is located a family owned restaurant called Clanton's Café.
It's located on the historical Route 66 that runs straight through Vinita. The restaurant has been

Indigo Indian Bistro is widely considered the best Indian cuisine in New York City. But what makes
its mango lassi, tikka masala, and samosa dishes so irresistible? The answer according to The
Washington Post is contrast of flavors. In Western culture, science says that people are drawn to
dishes that incorporate ingredients with similar flavor profiles. However, Indian food is the

I found it surprising that all three restaurants actually do not own the property that they are on. All
three of them own the restaurants but rent the land that there restaurants operate on. With all three of
these restaurants, the time of years and the weather have a huge effect on their sales volume. The
lower their sales volume the higher percent of operating cost that they have. During the winter, sales
are at their low and in the summer they are at their high. Each restaurant experiences high profits
during the summer months and low profits during the winter months. Operating cost such as
inventory and labor are the biggest monthly expense from all three restaurants. Since all three of
these restaurants belong to national franchise chains they are required to pay franchise fees and
royalty fees each month. The manager at Sonic Drive–In stated that their franchise and royalty fees

Marketing 's Development And Success Essay
In contemporary society, due to the seller economic model is transforming to the buyer economic
model gradually in the market which has resulted from social progress as well as technological
development, marketing plays a prominent role in an enterprise's development and success.
According to American Marketing Association (AMA):
"Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering,
and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large"
(AMA 2007, cited in Baines et al. 2011, p. 6).
In order to achieve better performance of marketing, marketing study is indispensable. As Hackley
(2009) indicated, "Marketing studies seems to have the ability to appeal in different guises to
different audiences", meanwhile, he also argued that marketing studies is in "its most popular guise"
which refers to "a resolutely one–dimensional problem–solving discipline". (Hackley, 2009, p.45).
From the author's point of view, "one–dimensional problem–solving discipline" is a simple way of
pure transactions between the seller and the buyer which is direct and straightforward. In my own
opinion, "one–dimensional problem–solving discipline" means a narrow and simple mode of trades
that just focuses on one specific purpose, regardless of any other significant factors of marketing.
For instance, some companies merely meet the customer satisfaction, or some firms just pay
attention to their own profit. All of

Descriptive Essay On Restaurant
After a day of running the cold roads, I knew there was only one place to go that served warm home
style country food anywhere near where I was at; and that is Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is an
inviting restaurant that started in 1969, in Tennessee, that has grown tremendously; however, it still
serves its customers with true southern hospitality. This chain of restaurants tries to gather all things
stereotypically southern in one place hoping to give it customers a taste of it all. This exaggerated
old southern restaurant is a place where families go to relax and play checkers while they wait on
their table or go look at the general store that is located in front of every Cracker Barrel restaurant.
As I walked in on a chilly day, I expected the air to be warm and feel welcomed but that was far
from the truth. The air was cold and the staff was hastily walking around yelling back and forth at
one another trying to organize the general store. The general store has a little bit of everything for
everyone. It has old fashioned candies, toys for all ages, dress up clothes for little kids, regular
everyday clothes for grownups, and seasonal products that rotate in and out. My favorite thing that
the general store over prices is its old–fashioned candies; though the price is worth it simply because
it is candy that you cannot find anywhere else.
Making my way back to the hostess table I could already hear the waitresses talking about their
personal lives and their

As you first enter the store you are met by friendly staff and the smell of chicken and steak on the grill. Then you are asked to order at a very fair price of $6.75. Then you are seated and given complimentary chips with salsa (which are delicious I might add). After 5 minutes, you are served the chicken burrito as it is fresh off the grill. As you take the first bite you are out sounded at the flavor of the chicken as it is smoky and crispy, the tomatoes which add to the acidity of the burrito, and finally the soft flour tortilla which practically melts in your mouth. • 6. Descriptive Essay About Northern Pines Restaurant Northern Pines Restaurant; Mediocre at best Looking for a new place to eat that is affordable and food that tastes amazing? If so, Northern Pines is not for you!! Do not be deceived by what is perpetrated on the web. Upon internet investigation, The Northern Pines Restaurant is a "relaxed go–to for all–day American fare" with a 4.3/5 rating I was expecting a lot more than what was presented to me. The main reasons I was ill–fated by this restaurant was the eerie atmosphere, price of the food, and the overall poor service I experienced. To begin with, the atmosphere was all but welcoming. Being new to the Flagstaff area, I was unsure of the location of this diner. When I arrived there, I was immediately confused on if I was given the correct address because the place I had arrived at looked rather scary. Northern Pines was a small diner located between two sleazy hotels surrounded by three gas stations and a pub. The exterior was unsettling to say the least with the lack of lights except for one fluorescent green light that made me feel like I was in a bad indie horror flick. The inside, while slightly better, did not give off the impression I had been hoping. When I walked in I was immediately engulfed by a smell similar to my grandmothers' closet, choosing to ignore it, I realized while how off putting the smell, it was not necessarily a death–sentence. Another reason the atmosphere was very uncomfortable was due to the loudness of the workers there. For example, the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Essay KFC in United States and KSA KFC, still referred to by some as Kentucky Fried Chicken, is a well–recognized international fast food chain that started as a gas stop diner in Kentucky. Due to the immense popularity, KFC restaurants are succeeding in their routine business throughout the world including United States and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. • 8. Life For Harland David Sanders Life for Harland David Sanders was not easy. He was born on September 9, 1890 in Henryville, Indiana to a rather unfortunate family. He was the oldest of three children, having a younger brother named Wilbur and younger sister named Margaret. Their source of income was initially from a part time job that his father had, running errands for farmers around Henryville. His mother stayed home and took care of the kids while their father was working. However, this all changed in 1896 when Harland was just 6 years old. His father came back from work one day with a fever, and died later that day. This meant that his mother had to go find a job, and Harland had to drop out of school take care of his younger siblings. His mother found a job at a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This led to Harland running away from home at the age of 15 because he did not want to deal with his stepfather anymore. He decided that since he was not home anymore, he would volunteer to be in the U.S. Army. He served a full term in the army, ending his service in Cuba. After his military days, he was on his own and had to find a job for himself. He found a job as a U.S. railway fireman, and it gave him a fairly stable income. After about a year of this job, he found that he wanted to settle down and start a family. So in 1908, Harland married Josephine King. They had three children together, 1 boy and two girls. They named the boy Harland Jr. after his father, and the girls Mildred and Margaret. They lived a happy life as a family for a while, until Harland got fired from his fireman position for insubordination. Now Harland Sanders had no source of income and a family to support. This made it too hard for the family, so Josephine decided she would leave him. She took the kids with her and just like that, Harland was on his own again. He took up many different occupations, similar to what he did in his childhood, after his family left. He earned enough money to stay happy for a while, and even saved up enough money to make purchases that would benefit him and his future careers. When Harland Sanders was 40 years of age, he had saved up enough money to buy a service station in the town of Corbin, Kentucky. At his service station, he had living ... • 9. University Galleries On September 18,2017 I visited the University Galleries located at Texas State University had an amazing piece of art on display called The Last Supper: 700 Plates Illustrating Final Meals of U.S. Death Row Inmates created by Julie Green. Once entering the exhibit the viewers' attention focuses on the deep black letters painted onto the wall, revealing the statistics of the death penalty in the United States. Moving throughout the room the inmates last meals were painted onto ceramic plates varying in size and style. Julie Green displayed the ceramic plates in a thick horizontal line on all four walls of the exhibit giving the viewers' an understanding for each meal. Specifically on plate 66 the artist caught my attention with the color, texture, and lines illustrated throughout the ceramic plate. The plate was from an inmate in California who requested white meat chicken from Kentucky Fried Chicken, a buffalo steak, sugar–free pecan pie, sugar–free black walnut ice cream, Indian pan–fried bread, ... In addition, the sugar–free pecan pie had a dark shade towards the center of the pie with a light tint on the crust making a great contrast with each other. Shifting to color intensity on the ceramic plate, it was very muted giving the viewers a gloomy, and depressing feeling. The artist most likely did this due to the fact it was the last time the prisoners were going to enjoy a meal before being executed. Proceeding to the last component of color, which is hue. • 10. The Way Of Wealth By Benjamin Franklin In 1758 in his financial advisory book The Way to Wealth, Benjamin Franklin is quoted to have said, "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest" ("An Investment in Knowledge Pays the Best Interest"). Ironically, and somewhat surprisingly, the wealthy, Boston–born inventor, statesman, politician, and writer (among numerous other professions) never completed schooling past the age of ten, as he was pulled from formal education at grammar school in 1716 to become an apprentice to his brother, a printer by trade ("Benjamin Franklin"). Even more astonishing is the fact that many of the self–made billionaires on the Forbes 400 list, like Mark Zuckerberg, never completed college or even set foot on a college campus. People on this list have gone on the create giants, like Microsoft (Bill Gates), DreamWorks SKG (David Geffen, who holds $5.5 billion in his name), and Carnival Cruises (Micky Arison) ("The Self–Made Billionaire Entrepreneurs Who Said No To College"). Perhaps education from college, high school, or another kind of formal education is not what it takes to become successful and massively well–off in the world. High school seems to be a time in a person 's education where he strives to make straight A 's and complete classes to the best of his ability, in the high hopes that one day he can perhaps become a successful businessman, CEO, or mogul and raise a family without having to take money for granted. However, readers may be surprised to learn that many wealthy ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Through this remodel, KFC learned that 76.5 percent of their customers were unaware that KFC offered an Extra Crispy Fried Chicken Recipe. Customers only associated KFC with their Original Recipe meaning that if they were looking for a crispier fried chicken option then they may go to another restaurant. KFC saw this lack of knowledge as an opportunity to educate their customers and other people that KFC does in fact offer an extra crispy recipe. KFC found that millennials were not typically engaged with their brand, so they also wanted to develop a campaign that reached the millennial audience. With Labor Day weekend approaching, KFC saw it has their opportunity to leverage the last summer holiday. • 15. Rhetorical Analysis Of Kentucky Fried Chicken Kentucky fried chicken, also known as KFC, have made many commercials over time. This analysis is on a specific old commercial, sadly of unknown age, but probably from around 1950–1960. The commercial in question is found on YouTube, and it's made in USA. KFC is a fast food chain that sells fried chicken, amongst other things, and is especially popular is the US. To summarize the commercial it starts with a few women being displayed, all thinking about what to serve for dinner. The fact that they have a special price is great, but just putting a picture on the screen is not what we want to see. As mentioned before, the music is suiting to the commercial, however it hasn't any excitement to it. In the whole, the clip has an old feel to it, in a negative way. It is an old commercial, which makes it rather obvious that it will look old, but that part is not appreciated by everyone today. There are a few things that could be modified to make it better, for example the special price. To make it more interesting, it should be moving after a few seconds, for instance display someone enjoying the two for one meal. The ancient feeling is a bit hard to remove without remaking the entire commercial today, but maybe that's a good thing. This commercial isn't like the rest and perhaps that's what people like about it. If I received the chance to make some small adjustments I would probably start with finding them a catchphrase. To wrap it all up, KFC has really succeeded with this commercial, it's convincing and looks delicious. There is a slight problem though, I'm a vegetarian, therefore I won't buy the product. I also happen to know the truth behind the meat industry and do not wish to support it. My opinions however, do not have anything to do with the commercial, and if I wasn't aware of all this, I would probably buy the Kentucky fried ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I do not know from which year the commercial is from but the commercial is from the USA. The type of product in the commercial is fast food and more specific fried chicken. In the commercial there is no obvious slogan, but they say Kentucky fried chicken which I think is the slogan in this commercial. The target audience for the commercial is Housewives and their family. The commercial needs to get attention from people in general because they are the people that is supposed to eat the fried chicken, but it also need to get attention from the housewives since they are making the food in the households. And the feeling of in that kind of situations it would be nice with food from Kentucky Fried Chicken. I do not think that the commercial objectify anyone. Because objectifying is when you use a person as an object instead of a person, which is not shown in the commercial. Stereotypes is something that is used in the commercial. My grandmother, who spent her entire life in the south, always took flour and then added salt and pepper. She then took the chicken straight to the frying pan. Naturally, I think this is the correct way to do it, but there are others. For example, many people find that dipping the chicken in raw egg helps the flour stay on better. While I have never actually seen this done, I have heard that is how 'Hardees' batters their chicken. (Complete instructions are listed below.) The next and most important step is the cooking. Place a pinch of flour in the skillet, if it sizzles, then you will know the oil is ready. Try to keep a safe distance away, as you are apt to get stung a bit by the flying grease. During the winter, sales are at their low and in the summer they are at their high. Each restaurant experiences high profits during the summer months and low profits during the winter months. Operating cost such as inventory and labor are the biggest monthly expense from all three restaurants. Since all three of these restaurants belong to national franchise chains they are required to pay franchise fees and royalty fees each month. Boston Chicken implemented a franchising strategy that differed from most other franchising companies at the time. Boston Chicken focused its expansion through franchising the company through large regional developers rather than selling store franchises to a large number of small franchisees. In that, an established network of 22 regional franchises that targeted their operations in the 60 largest U.S. metropolitan markets and in order to do so, the franchisee would have been an independent experienced businessman with vast financial resources and would be responsible for opening 50 – 100 stored in the region. • 38. Marketing 's Development And Success Essay In contemporary society, due to the seller economic model is transforming to the buyer economic model gradually in the market which has resulted from social progress as well as technological development, marketing plays a prominent role in an enterprise's development and success. According to American Marketing Association (AMA): "Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large" (AMA 2007, cited in Baines et al. 2011, p. 6). In order to achieve better performance of marketing, marketing study is indispensable. As Hackley (2009) indicated, "Marketing studies seems to have the ability to appeal in different guises to different audiences", meanwhile, he also argued that marketing studies is in "its most popular guise" which refers to "a resolutely one–dimensional problem–solving discipline". (Hackley, 2009, p.45). From the author's point of view, "one–dimensional problem–solving discipline" is a simple way of pure transactions between the seller and the buyer which is direct and straightforward. In my own opinion, "one–dimensional problem–solving discipline" means a narrow and simple mode of trades that just focuses on one specific purpose, regardless of any other significant factors of marketing. For instance, some companies merely meet the customer satisfaction, or some firms just pay attention to their own profit. All of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. Descriptive Essay On Restaurant After a day of running the cold roads, I knew there was only one place to go that served warm home style country food anywhere near where I was at; and that is Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is an inviting restaurant that started in 1969, in Tennessee, that has grown tremendously; however, it still serves its customers with true southern hospitality. This chain of restaurants tries to gather all things stereotypically southern in one place hoping to give it customers a taste of it all. This exaggerated old southern restaurant is a place where families go to relax and play checkers while they wait on their table or go look at the general store that is located in front of every Cracker Barrel restaurant. As I walked in on a chilly day, I expected the air to be warm and feel welcomed but that was far from the truth. The air was cold and the staff was hastily walking around yelling back and forth at one another trying to organize the general store. The general store has a little bit of everything for everyone. It has old fashioned candies, toys for all ages, dress up clothes for little kids, regular everyday clothes for grownups, and seasonal products that rotate in and out. My favorite thing that the general store over prices is its old–fashioned candies; though the price is worth it simply because it is candy that you cannot find anywhere else. Making my way back to the hostess table I could already hear the waitresses talking about their personal lives and their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
