PLANNING PROCESS IDENTIFY CONCERNS Prepare a  science center for 4-5 years old for any given them for 7-10 min. SET GOAL Using the resources that I have brought I will prepare an activity that would hold the preschool for at least 7-10 min.
PLANNING FORM A PLAN Gather as many resources as possible such as text,workbook,and the internet. Review previous science center lesson plan Gather random items that we can use in the past center including variety of science center. Acquire knowledge regarding developmental stages. Develop age appropriate for 4-5 years old. ACT Write lesson plan for ages appropriate science center  Gather necessary materials fro science activities Teach from the science center lesson plan Evaluate the lesson taught Improve and revise the lesson plan
Follow up After competing at the Area 3 competition, I will change what I have brought in my resource container and add more ideas for science center. I will also read through the judges notes and improve my presentation according to their suggestions.
On the left I am reading to the preschoolers. On the right I was reading to them while the preschoolers eat their snacks.
Lesson Plan 4-5 yrs. Jennifer Calderon	 Science Center Zucchini Bread for the letter ‘Z’ The children learned that we can make food from plants and what a zucchini is. Children need to know where food comes from.
Lesson Plan Continued Table in the preschool room. Oven in the Foods room. Zucchini, flour, egg, spices, spoon, bowl, grater, peeler  Have dry ingredients measured and in a bowl, wet ingredients in another bowl, zucchini washed. Allow children to take turns peeling and grating the zucchini. Then allow children to help stir the ingredients together. Spoon into muffin pans, bake in separate room. Eat muffins during snack. Children would watch the teacher perform the tasks.
