2. Stratus Clouds---
A Stratus is a low-level cloud that is flat, hazy,
featureless, and gray.
A Nimbostratus has light precipitation, dark, and low-
lying.
Nimbus means rain.
3. Cumulus Clouds---
A Cumulus is puffy, cotton-like, and it has clear edges.
Stratocumulus is low-lying, blanket of cumulus, large,
and rounded.
Cumulonimbus is tall, dense, puffy, they produce
lightning, heavy rain, wind, tornadoes.
Fractus: is forms under a stratus level.
5. Cirrus Clouds---
Cirrus is a white, wispy, stretched cotton like cloud.
Cirrocumulus is pinkie-nail sized.
Cirrostratus is nearly transparent, and they produce a
halo sun.
Contrails are the condensation left by jets.
