assembly and the first appearance of the women suffrage in Spain

Clara Campoamor fought in defence of it and with her speeches she got
a votation. Her proposal won with 161 votes.

was 13, she had to left school
and help her mother. At the age
of 36, she graduated as the first
female lawyer. Clara was one
of the women elected to
parliament. She died in 1972
