1. IB one Media Blitz part one
Mr Dorofy
Now that you have completed your first three media, it is time to apply your knowledge
to small pieces of artwork. You will create 3 small 5” x 7” drawings using the different
media we have explored. At least one of your drawings must be on a toned/colored
paper. You are to draw an interesting object of your choice from 3 different viewpoints.
You will display all three of these pieces on one board and present them as a series for a
grade. In order to receive credit you must compare and contrast the effects of each
medium, which requires scanning your images, printing them, and finally writing about
them in your RWB.
Some questions to consider in your RWB:
1. What did you like about the medium
2. Do you plan to use it in the future, if so, how and why?
3. How are the mediums different from each other?
4. How are the mediums similar?
These are just a few of many questions you may want to answer in your RWB. Please be
sure to write in ink and arrange your thoughts in a way that is easy to follow.
