Taking the next step, being better than you were yesterday is a huge thing. We sometimes see ourselves as limited because we don't know how to make that difference. We don't understand that change is brought about by a decision, followed by setting a goal, followed by taking a step each day until we achieve that goal. We see making a difference in our current situation as a huge thing. Something that has to be done all at once, and we feel overwhelmed, but it doesn't have to be done that way.
Take one step at a time and make a difference in your life!
3. I just want you to know how much
presentation does matter in your life. Not
only should you get up and show up, but
you should get up, show up, and be on
your best behavior, because it really does
matter how you present your program.
How you do anything is how you do
everything…
4. You’ve made decisions in your life and those decisions have
brought you to where you are right now.
You’re totally responsible for this place where you are today,
so take charge of your life, take responsibility for your
choices and start making better choices right now for the
future. You are the only person who can make better choices
and decide where you’ll be next year, next month, next
week. Make those decisions today.
5. Know where you are:
Look over your current status and define
it.
Decide what you like and what you don’t
like.
Determine what you would like to change.
Identify any problems that are coming up
in the near future, and where they are
coming from. Can those be changed?
Write down what you see. Be detailed.
Write it all down and read through it.
Accuracy is important. Write it down.
6. Decide to make a difference in your life.
This is really important. Make sure you know
what you WANT and then make a declaration
of what you’re willing to change to get what
you want in your life.
Whatever this is, look it over, write it down
and make a real decision to achieve what
you want, make the changes, achieve your
goal. Write it all down.
7. Visualize the
successful change you
want to make in your
life.
Define your goal in
this process, so you
can describe it
completely and
thoroughly.
Write it all down.
8. This is a really important step…
You need to write down the steps required to
take to achieve your goal. Break these out into
steps you can do every day to make your goal
happen. No matter what you project may be, be
sure you’re doing something EVERY single day
toward achieving your goal.
There are some suggestions that might be
helpful here, but I want you to get set up and
get started by writing down something you can
do EVERY single day.
9. Make phone calls.
Go to the gym.
Find an accountability partner.
Do the first thing – whatever that is.
Write articles, or pages, or words.
Dance. Learn what you need to learn.
Schedule activities.
Schedule people.
Visit the person who can help you achieve your goal.
Visualize for 5 minutes daily.
Journal your success. WRITE IT DOWN.
Be honest. Do each step each day.
If you miss a day – do it the next day.
Don’t miss a day.
Do each step every day.
Don’t lose your focus.
Follow your dream. Stay on task.
10. Take action.
Get started building your
new project and
accomplishing your dream,
because taking these first
steps will help you take
the next steps.
If you don’t get started, I
can guarantee you won’t
get where you want to be,
no matter how long you
wait. Get started, today.
11. Use those steps you laid out and follow
through. Do what you’ve said you’re going to
do and get started achieving your goals, right
now. No matter how many times you do the
first steps, if you never follow through and
do the actions you ‘planned’ to do, then
you’ll never achieve your goals.
Do it! Do it now.
12. Starts a new day – but if you
never open your eyes, get out
of bed, and move through the
day – the sunrise doesn’t really
matter, because you missed it.
Get up and get started
achieving your goals.
13. Be sure you’re showing
gratitude for all the
amazing things you’re
achieving in each of
these areas of your
life, and for each
successful step of
achievement.
Take time out to
notice what you’re
achieving each week
and be grateful for
every single
achievement.
14. With each unit, you’ve had specific
directions to take, moving toward the next
one, and this is no different. Your
responsibility is to keep growing, keep
moving, and keep doing what comes next on
your list of actions to take….
Whatever those actions are, do the next
step, and then do it over again. Do it again,
until you’ve attained your goal.
15.
16. This is truly important – take time to
CELEBRATE your achievement. It doesn’t take
long, but CELEBRATE every chance you get.
Be grateful, celebrate, and start on your
next goal, because without goals and
achievements we stagnate. We lose ground.
We die.
NEVER stop achieving your goals and moving
toward the next step.
