Question 7 looking back at your prelim task
1. QUESTION 7- LOOKING BACK AT YOUR PRELIM TASK WHAT DO YOU
FEEL YOU HAVE LEARNED IN PROGRESSION FROM THAT TO FINAL
PRODUCT
2. FRONT COVER
On the top left of my page is my final front cover, this is a lot different
compared to my prelim on the bottom left. As you can see there are a lot
more conventions in my final product whereas in my prelim task I didn’t
really follow the codes and conventions of real magazines I just wanted to
try and make my magazine look appealing.
As you can see in my prelim task it doesn’t involve any of the conventions
my final product does. This is because I figured out how to use other tools
such as quark and Photoshop to make my magazine look more
professional,
3. CONTENTS PAGE
These two pieces of work are my contents page, the bottom
image is what I created for the prelim task, the top image is the
music magazine contents page. For my prelim task I couldn’t
figure out how to use the software quark so I was unable to apply
conventions from professional magazines. This doesn’t contrast
to my final magazine because after using quark a few times I got
the hang of it which meant I could apply more conventions into
my magazine so it looked more professional and more
presentable.
