Development From watching LA Confidential, we liked this bar scene and the atmosphere it created when we were watching it and we wanted our opening sequence to have this ambiance As our film clip was supposed to be set in the Presidents lounge where not many people would be which we thought would be a fitting environment.
4. Bar Scene This is another bar scene which is dark and looks like it is a mans bar. Within this scene we have used the conventional film noir scene with a man serving another and with drinks and art similar lighting This bar scene fits well with the genre and is well resembled by LA Confidential. We have used a male bar tender and a male acquaintance for the president to talk to.
5. This images shows a man looking quite arrogant and headstrong. This I feel looks and takes the part well of the characteristics needed for the genre we selected.
6. Using the same conventions Within LA Confidential we saw they used a collage of magazine covers and we thought we could adapt this idea. We used magazine covers from Marilyn Monroe's death and I think this convention has worked well and fits well with our theme and the Film Noir genre.
7. This image looks like the man is looking down on the women. We thought that this image would be appropriate as JFK is a womanizer who also looks down on women. This selected scene links well with the above image as JFK is also looking down on the mistress.
8. This selected shot we liked as we like the secretiveness between the two people. While JFK was in the interview he needed to speak with his secretary and this shows the same secrecy between the two people.
