IEEE-R10 SAC INDIA team was formed with the intension to enhance and encourage
communication between student branches of a section and between sections. This is
achieved by bringing student branches to work together and promoting effective
networking between student branches. This will lead to increase in IEEE activities,
reactivation of sick student branches, formation of new branches and effective transfer of
responsibilities to new branch officers thus increasing the value of IEEE student
membership and thereby sustain student members in IEEE.
The 3 major pillars of IEEE-R10 SAC Team are:
• Student Branch Networking – To encourage inter-SB activities and networking
• Industry Relations – To connect SBs and Industries in an effective manner
• oration Platform – Create Online Collaboration environments for student members
One of the primary goals of the team is to help student branches in improving retention.
Student Branch Networking Pillar
The Student Branch Networking pillar had been actively working to encourage networking
and combined events across Student branches in a section and across sections. The team
was able to actively engage and guide student branches in organizing such events
effectively.
