Cash prize of INR 100K – Amrita SB (runner up) IBM IEEE Student Project design contest - third prize by Amritha SB: $ 1000 2 student projects received IEEE Mini Grants Funding – Amrita and Model Engg. College (MEC) 1 student project from MEC, Kochi received funding from IEEE Foundation, NJ, USA – $12000 Team from Amrita reached final round of IEEE Presidents Change the World Contest 2011 IEEE MBCET ROBOTICS CLUB bagged second prize in Malayala Manorama YUVA MASTERMINDS CHALLEGE. Prize: Rs 60K

Other Achievements 41 SBs submitted annual plan / report online 148 teams from Kerala section participated in IEEE Xtreme 5.0. 25% of India Council Sreenath N of IEEE-RIT CS selected to write an article in a future issue of IEEE Potentials magazine. Lesson plan submitted by Roshan Issac of IEEE SB CE Kalloopara "computing in the cloud" entered second round of 2011 IEEE Trycomputing.org lesson plan competition 60% of R10 WIE Funds bagged by Kerala 14 SBs participated for R10 Website Competition– largest participation from a section
