1.  It is one of the open source.
 It is powered by PHP and My SQL
 It can also be used for content management
 It has many features including a plugin
architecture and a templating system.

2.  Just extract the zip file after download it
 In linux go to
Application-->Accessories-->terminal
 On the terminal page:
cd ..
cd home
home dir
home cd system name

3. Cd desktop
then extraction
sudo tar -xvzf (location)
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start
sudo tar -xvzf -c/opt/lampp/htdocs
sudo chmod 777 -R/opt/lampp/htdocs

4.  We use this statment to connect the local
host
cd ..
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start
then linux connect to word press

5.  Everey changes should be done in
dashboard.
 That dashboard contains tags.
 We can modify the design easily using
dashboard.
 Tags available:
--> Posts
--> Media

6. -->Links
-->Pages
-->Appearance
-->Plugins
-->Users
-->comments --
>Tools --
>Settings

7.  Add a new post in the web page.
 New post means we can add a new
comments,
images,video etc..

8.  Links is used to hyperlink the web pages.
 It is easily to identify the links available in
default page.
 We can modify the links and describtion also.

9.  In this, we can choose the different
themes
 We can edit the php and css file using editor
option.
 Add new themes by searching the new
keywords.

10.  We can upload the videos,image to the word
press
 That is useful for access the file easily in php
and css
