Jack took photos at a family party but felt he could improve his photography skills. He realized he needed to think more about how to frame shots and capture the essence of the event before taking pictures. Some photos came out too harshly lit from using the camera flash directly. In the future, Jack will research lighting techniques, shutter speed, and aperture to improve without flash. He also wants to learn how to use his camera's features better. From this experience, Jack learned to frame shots intentionally and think about how to capture and potentially retake images.

4. I tried to capture the family part of a party ( social event). I feel at this stage I haven't thought about how to
capture people or a certain frame. I need to improve on thinking on what I will take take first then take the picture.
If I do not like it or I know I can improve on it, I should retake it but think first.

5. In these images I have taken, I feel I didn't’t think about the space I could have used and what might capture the
true nature of the event. I feel I need to improve on thinking before I take the image. In the pictures I have took,
I used the flash on the camera. I feel this came out too harsh of a light for the subjects in some of the images.
Next time I need to use another source of light, either natural or a clip on dial so that the light is not hitting the
subject straight from the camera.The lighting is important I feel from taken these images and I need to research
more on lighting and how to use it. I also need to research more in IOS, SHUTTER SPEED and aperture. On the
next part of photography, I will research into how to use my camera more and how to brighten up image
without the use of a flash.
From this I have learnt how to frame and how to start thinking about what I should take and how to take the
image. I also have learnt on how to think about improving an image and if I was to go back, how I would retake
it.
