First Act:
Wolf is at center stage [spot lights on wolf]. Wolf begins growling, laughing, as he schemes up an evil
plan to disguise himself as a sheep.
Wolf slyly puts on the sheep disguise – looks at audience and gestures the audience to keep quiet.
[Group of sheet walk in from stage left]
Sheep are happy and talk amongst themselves about bible scriptures on their way to church
Wolf (disguised as sheep) joins the group and allures the last sheep away from the group.
The group of sheep doesn’t notice that the “fragile sheep” has strayed away.
Second Act:
[The music fastens] The wolf begins taunting the “fragile sheep” and presenting “worldly things : drugs,
alcohol, guns”
- The sheep struggles and fights to stay firm but eventually the wolf scares him away
- Fragile sheep exits down the main aisle
Wolf joins group and acts “Holy”
The bells ring and they all enter the church (up the stairs)
At church, the wolf continues to act holy and fools the congregation; they begin to follow the wolf and
are blinded by his evilness.
Second Act:
Pastor enters stage from the middle [he enters hand-in-hand with lost sheep]
Pastor breaks the “spell” and the sheep are awaken from the trance
Pastor exposes the wolf from his disguise
The sheep begin reading biblical passages as the pastor casts the wolf away
2. Wolf falls in defeat.
