- BFAR doing water quality testing but information not with PASu and not all parameters are tested. Will be merged with convening of research council which is part of Tanggol’s current project.
- Dr. Gordon McGregor Reid, former Global Chair of the Freshwater Ecosystems Specialist group of the IUCN visited on February 18th and expressed alarm over invasive fish and weed species. Suggests that seeding be stopped and biodiversity inventory be conducted as soon as possible.
- Proposals written. 1a. Land Evaluation Party will be mapping Laurel and Talisay after Holy Week.
- Basic Environmental Tourism Course undertaken in partnership with Tanggol Kalikasan and the Provincial Tourism Office. Tourism Master Planning started with Heritage Mapping but is expected to be finished only at the end of the year, to be contracted after elections.
- PASu Office will secure from EMB all the solid waste management plans.
- A meeting of academics interested in Taal Lake was initiated by Evangeline Enriquez and will be held at Trinity College, Manila on March 24 at 4pm. Philippine Biodiversity Conservation Foundation is also interested to participate in conducted biodiversity research. A proposal has been filed by Pusod to UPS for the Knowledge Center.
