INTRODUCTION

In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under
the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of
opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under
section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,
2006.
Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and
abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as
per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.4/- per page. If any further details are required to be

SPECIAL NOTICE


        Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.


The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.




                                           SPECIAL NOTICE
Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

from the date of second publication, provided that there is there is no third party representation.

A fluid administration set (10) for controlling the flow of fluid, the fluid administration set (10) connected between an IV fluid source

mounted in the lower end (30) at the outlet port (34) projecting into the said chamber (24), the said outlet port (34) connected to a drip
chamber (50) extending from the bottom thereof and in series with the flow line, the said drip chamber (50) comprising: an elongated
transparent hollow housing (52) defining an inlet (18) at one end thereof and an outlet (20) at the other end, fluid filter member (54)
positioned adjacent the said outlet (20), said fluid filter member (54) defining a pore size sufficient to permit the passage of liquid and
to prevent the passage of air, when wetted, under normal conditions of use, the said outlet (20) connected to an outlet tube member
(16); and a shut-off valve (36) positioned in the said burette chamber (24), the said valve (36) formed such that it floats in the medical
fluid accumulated in the said burette chamber (24), the floating disk member comprising: an upper surface (60), a lower surface (62),
and a predetermined amount of buoyancy, the shut-off valve (36) adapted to provide fluid passing from the inlet (18) into the drip
chamber (50) while permitting the passage of fluid from the upper surface (60) of the shut-off valve (36) to the lower surface (62) of
the shut off-valve (36); and the said valve (36) being configured to be accommodated and provided support onto the said seat (44)
when there is less than a predetermined amount of fluid in the burette chamber (24), the said valve (36) and the said seat (44) forming
an air tight seal between the burette chamber (24) and the outlet (20) of the burette (22) to prevent the passage of air into the outlet
(20) of the burette (22) when there is less than a predetermined amount of fluid in the burette chamber (24); the said seat (44) being
configured as such to allow the buoyancy of the said valve (36) to cause separation between the valve (36) and the seat (44) when
there is more than a predetermined amount of fluid in the burette chamber (24) to allow the fluid to flow from the burette chamber
(24) into the outlet (20) of the burette (22) and through the said burette chamber (24) to the patient.

donovani infected, asymptomatic individuals, and for detection of IL-10 secretion as the signature cytokine distinguishing active VL
from cured or asymptomatic cases control for monitoring of ongoing transmission in endemic area.

be used for air conditioning later during power interruption. The invented system hence makes air conditioning viable and economical

Vibration is one of the important parameters used for fault diagnosis as well as for monitoring the overall condition of machines. The
conventional methods give a poor resolution of the measurement. In the proposed invention, a selsyn is used to measure the velocity
of machine vibrations with high resolution in the millisecond range. Thus it gives magnitude period of the peaks of vibration. The
broad spectrum of pulses within one second range, gives a pattern of variation including all possible values of instantaneous velocity
of the machine vibrations. This high resolution and fast measurement will help in health monitoring and more accurate detection of
faults in the machines. The selsyn generates an ac stator flux of voltage signal of different frequencies corresponding to the vibrations
of machines. This ac voltage signal ultimately gives a train of pulses with different pulse widths, proportional to the instantaneous
velocity of machine vibrations.

amount of liquid from required outlet of known distance in Zero (0) seconds time than the computer software uses the relation of
speed is equal to distance travelled per unit time and divides using B.N.R.F. based division software and gives the command to
External Flow Controlling Device to provide this (Zero) speed to the required amount of liquid and as such when Zero speed is
provided to the required amount of liquid no liquid will come out from the outlet but each and every part of the device will run. All of
them get commands, proc¬essed it and replied to computer software which operates them. Thereafter the computer software will judge
that whether all the part had worked out or not. If the process is correct and all the parts have worked correctly than Green Light will
blink and it shows that this device is working properly however if any part doesnt respond or work properly it will show us an error
message by blinking the Red Light. In this way we had assured this whether our device is working or not without the wastage of any
external resource.

index, clinical variables such as blood pressure and blood sugar measurements and knowledge, attitudes and practice of the
individuals, an alert is activated, categorize individual either into a minimum or moderate or high risk category, the patient is notified,
the healthcare professional is notified, and a caregiver is alerted if specified by the individual at the time of data input. The system
then provides feedback in the form of general and targeted health education materials using multiple formats such as text, audio,
image and pictures, depending on the user preferences and health literacy levels to manage their health.

The present invention resides in a method for detecting plagiarism in a given test document. The method comprises generating search
strings pertaining to a given document, namely, the test document, creating a local repository of the search results including the
potential target documents of the source document, uploading said test document in a local database, comparing semantically each
potential source document with the test document, generating a report in a columnar format displaying the plagiarized passages of the
source and the target document along with the percent similarity, wherein the comparison of the source and the target document is
carried out by a sliding window technique and wherein prior to comparing the target and the source documents, said documents are
converted from a text format to a hashed format. The invention also relates to a tool which comprises means for generating search
strings pertaining to a given document, namely, the test document, means for creating a local repository of the search results including
the potential target documents of the source document, means for comparing semantically each potential target document with the
source document, means for generating a report in a columnar format displaying the plagiarized passages of the source and the target
document along with the percent similarity. The comparison of the source and the target document is carried out by a sliding window

A system for monitoring the level of an infusion liquid in an infusion bottle includes an upper plate having an opening to house a
knob. A lower plate connected to the upper plate having a hook to accommodate an infusion bottle. A supporting plate connected to
the upper plate supports the lower plate and carries the weight of infusion liquid when the weight of infusion liquid in the infusion
bottle is greater than the weight of infusion liquid carried by the lower plate. A spring is placed between the upper plate and the lower
plate and adjusts the lower plate to its original position when the level of infusion liquid in the infusion bottle equals to threshold level
of the infusion liquid. A circuit breaker cuts power to a solenoid valve and stops the flow of infusion liquid when the lower plate
activates the circuit breaker.

(57) Abstract :
This dual brush Electro-Mechanical appliance for simultaneous cleaning of upper and lower surfaces of ceiling fan blade provides a
method of cleaning the fan blades with the help of two rotating brushes that are rotated with the help of drive motor seated on the
frame fitted to the handle. The appliance will have three sub-assemblies. Drive motor with pulley, Lower Brush shaft with pulleys on
both sides, and the Upper brush shaft with pulley. All these three sub-assemblies are assembled on the Frame. When energized, the
motor rotates the shaft that rotates the pulley of Lower brush shaft connected with the help of a cord . Lower brush pulley on other
side aligned to the pulley of the 2nd brush thereby the second brush also rotates. As the Lower and Upper brushes are positioned to
rotate touching the upper and lower surfaces of the fan blades, such rotation of brushes causes cleaning of upper and lower surfaces of
ceiling fan blade simultaneously . The frame also seats one positioner bucket that guides the ceiling fan blade to position itself
between the two brushes. A bellow frame with bellow on opposite side of the positioner bucket will allow collection of the removed
dust particulates in it.

The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are discontinued from 01/01/2009. SPECIAL NOTICE Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act. The method comprises generating search strings pertaining to a given document, namely, the test document, creating a local repository of the search results including the potential target documents of the source document, uploading said test document in a local database, comparing semantically each potential source document with the test document, generating a report in a columnar format displaying the plagiarized passages of the source and the target document along with the percent similarity, wherein the comparison of the source and the target document is carried out by a sliding window technique and wherein prior to comparing the target and the source documents, said documents are converted from a text format to a hashed format.
