Our instructional software is” Microsoft Visual C#.NET Training“, this software
aims to teach users about the different concepts and know-hows in Visual C#. The
software is a comprehensive tool for creating your Visual C# projects as well as guide to
developing the C# language. The software features a wide array of training videos headed
by developer Brian Maxx on teaching the Visual C# language from the very basics to the
more complex core programming concepts in C#. Whether it be C #beginners or
experienced programmers, this software provides users enhanced knowledge in using the
C# language.
Though this software may thoroughly deliver a smooth and suave learning
experience for students and programmers alike, the Microsoft Visual C#.NET Training
CD” uses limited media because it only features videos for delivering demos or lessons in
C# language, thus it cannot provide interaction for users. This downside of the training
CD can be considered as one of the major flaws seen in training videos because it
provides one-sided interaction between the user and the software. As we all know one-
sided interaction can not guarantee information being absorbed by the user especially that
the topic is about programming. Nonetheless the CD provides a quality learning
experience for users who want to learn or develop the C# language thus still though the
software provides minimal interaction, the concepts and methods present in the training
videos are thoroughly discussed and scrutinized by the instructor Brian Maxx so we have
the give the software a 3.0 star rating due to the heaps of information about C# we can
learn from the software.
If this instructional software were to be produced locally, I think the best way to
implement the training CD is to add other media elements that can cater interaction to the
user and not just demonstrate source codes and concepts about the programming
language. Also I think that the software should add language preference so that the user
can select the language of his choice or at least provide subtitles of the users preferred
language in the video to prevent any language gaps that may arise in learning the C#
language
