global problems
– 1461 recognized infectious diseases
– 60% of the diseases move between species
– 75% of new emerging human infections =
zoonotic
• Indonesia = large country
– 240 millions human inhabitants
– 2nd rank in biodiversity
– Hotspot of diseases

3. Objectives
• Promoting ‘One Health’ concept on controlling
infectious & zoonotic diseases,
• A professional development for:
– medical & veterinary lecturers/doctors
– public health officers
– quarantine & wildlife officers
– ecologists
– etc.
• Sharing integrative approaches on controlling
infectious & zoonotic diseases,
• Strengthening network among RESPOND,
SEAOHUN, and INDOHUN.
