Academic qualification:
- (1989-1993): Philosophy Doctor degree, in Fermentation
Technology at Dept. of Agric. Chem. Technology, Faculty of
Chemical Engineering, Technical Univ. of Budapest, Hungary.
Within these studies, two postgraduate courses of microbiology
and bioengineering were included. The title of Ph.D. thesis:
Fermentation of thermostable alkaline proteinase.
- (1988): Nominated by the government of Egypt for a scholarship to
get a Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering offered by the Hungarian
Academy of Science, Budapest, Hungary.
- (1985-1987): Registered for Ph.D. studies at Dept. Microbiology,
Faculty of Agric., Mansoura Univ. During this period, seven
postgraduate courses were studied and qualifying examination was
also attended.
- (1980-1985): Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Microbiology at Agric.
Botany Dept., Faculty of Agric., Mansoura Univ., Mansoura,
Egypt. The title of Master Thesis: Studies on proteinase production
by some bacteria. In this period, eight postgraduate courses were
attended.
- (1974-1978): Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology at Dept.
of Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University,
Cairo, Egypt.
