HUN
SUMMER
PROGRAMS
Join Us!
The Hun Summer School has served a vital purpose for many years by allowing
students both to move ahead in credit courses and sharpen their skills with enrichment
courses during the summer.
Through individual and personalized attention, we meet all students where they are and help
them advance to the next level.
We believe that:
 Students love to learn when they are in an environment that takes them
seriously and pushes them beyond their own limitations in a creative way.
 Parents and families should feel comfortable and confident with their
children thriving in a healthy, safe, and fun environment.
HUN CAMP
At Hun Camp, we focus on sharing our values of kindness, respect, cooperation and fun with
each and every Hun Camper. From our innovative games, themed weeks, dining hall lunches, to our
culminating talent show and sleepover, we provide a safe environment for campers to unleash their
imagination, build lasting friendships, and capture memories that will last a lifetime. Our veteran
staff of Hun faculty are assisted by aspiring educators, many of whom were campers themselves.
Together, they give campers the ability to push their limits and gain new life skills through
swimmings lessons, organized athletics, and exposure to 21st century education through the Hun
Summer School. The result is a lasting Hun Camp community.

Trips for Boarding Students
Traveling off campus during the five-week session is a major component of the curriculum. Before each trip,
teachers discuss how to get the most from each experience and will assign specific assignments related to the trip.
During the program, students travel throughout the Princeton area and to Philadelphia, New York City, and
Washington, D.C. Last summer, students went rafting in Pennsylvania, visited the Constitution Center in
Philadelphia, and went to a Broadway show and dinner in New York.
Other trips include the annual visit to Hershey Amusement Park and Amish country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania,
and shopping at Woodbury Commons Outlets. The highlight of the program is an overnight weekend trip to
Washington, D.C. Last summer, students visited landmarks including the memorials on the National Mall, the
Crime Museum, and enjoyed dinner at a variety of world-class restaurants.
Campus and Boarding Life Ages 13 to 17
The summer boarding program provides
students an opportunity to live at one of the
premier independent, coeducational college
preparatory schools in the Northeast. We are
steps from downtown Princeton and less than
sixty minutes to New York City and Philadelphia
which gives boarders access to more American
icons than any other boarding program on the
east coast of the United States.
Where Students Live
The Hun School dorms provide space for
summer programs staff, and will be the central
hub for the boarding program and Afternoon
Activities Program. Hun’s campus features dorm
space for 180 students, 24 faculty apartments,
state-of-the-art technology classrooms and
dining hall, a cafe, and school store.
OUR CAMPUS
