CONDITIONAL SENTENCES
Conditional sentences
are used to express that
the action in the main
clause can only take
place if a certain
condition in the if
clause is fulfilled.
A clause is a group of
words that has a subject
and a verb.
Function
Conditional Sentences Type I
are used to talk about a real or
very probable situation in the
present or future, or something
we believe will happen if the
condition is satisfied.
It is frequently used to give
warnings, to offer advices.
If you go out in the rain, you will get ill.
Advice
If you go out in the rain, you will enjoy.
Warning
Examples
•If you study hard, you will pass the exams.

•If it rains tomorrow, the match will be cancelled.
BE CAREFUL
Note! We never use will or won’t in the if
Clause
You will reduce garbage

Both are correct and have a similar
meaning
But you can also say:
