It is the service that ensures a server’s protection against spam or unwanted
email. When this feature has been enabled, any email that originates from a
sender that the server can’t recognize is rejected temporarily by that mail
server. It can be enabled by using the “Greylisting” interface in WHM, by
clicking on WHM -> Home -> Email -> Greylisting.
In the event that the email is licit, the server from which it originated tries to
resend it after some delay. The server accepts the email, post a sufficient
lapse of time.
9. Gzip

It is a program. It is used to compresses files, so that disk space can be
conserved. The .gz file extension is used by the compressed files. It reduces
transfer times to a minimum. Additionally, it makes it easy to transfer
multiple files.
Gzip is often used with the tar command by Unix and Linux systems, in order
to create a tarball file. Here the .tar.gz file extension is used.
A system’s gzip compression level can be set in the “Tweak Settings” interface
in WHM, by clicking on WHM -> Home -> Server Configuration -> Tweak
Settings.

It is a file that is present in a specific directory. It contains the configuration
information of the directory. Such a file might have authentication
instructions in it.
In the context of websites, its files are stored on the server space that is

It is a webmail client in cPanel & WHM. With its aid users can check emails
through a browser. Horde can be used in the Webmail interface in cPanel.
Custom Horde data behavior is included in cPanel & WHM.
15. Hostname

It refers to a server’s human-recognizable name across the Internet. It is
unique. The server hostname is distinct from the user’s domain name.
A server’s hostname can be specified or changed by system administrators in
the “Change Hostname” interface in WHM, by clicking on WHM -> Home ->
Networking Setup -> Change Hostname.
16. Hotlink (Inline Link)

It is that direct link which embeds a file (a video or an image) from a user’s
site into another website. In the event that another site embeds a user’s files,
the user’s bandwidth is used by it to serve those files.
Hotlinking can be prevented by accessing the “Hotlink Protection” interface
in cPanel, by clicking on cPanel -> Home -> Security -> Hotlink Protection.
