2. Mise-en-Scene
•
In the first shot we see a very bright and happy colour
scheme, only to change very quickly to a darker more boring
colour scheme. I feel this suggests how dull real life can be
compared to the excitement of what we see in films.
3. Camera
• A hand held camera is used when we see
shots in the ‘documentary’ style. This is to
make the documentary style more realistic
and believable.
4. Editing
•
Relatively fast edits are used to show the characters lives in
quick succession and show the snapshots of the characters
lives, as if they’re telling us a story, their lives without the
‘boring’ parts.
5. Sound
•
Digetic sounds of the wind during the ‘documentary’ scenes
create, again, the idea of a documentary, making it believable
and realistic. The sound in the background makes it sound as
if it was filmed on a hand held camera and a small amount of
time was spent on the editing.
