AT&T TALLIES MORE THAN 20 UPGRADES TO WIRELESS NETWORK IN
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Capacity Enhancements Made to Local Mobile Network
DAYTON, Ohio (Feb. 4, 2016) — AT&T* has upgraded its wireless network within
Montgomery County with more than 20 enhancements during 2015. The improvements add
greater capacity to cell sites in the area. That’s thanks to added layers of frequency known
as “carriers.” Across Ohio in 2015, AT&T made more than 680 upgrades to its wireless
network.
"AT&T’s investment in Montgomery County supports our residents and businesses. They
depend on quick and efficient mobile Internet access in our fast-paced world,” said State
Representative Fred Strahorn. “This is important for our regional economic development.
And it continues to be a priority because our businesses want to innovate and expand.”
