AT&T BRINGS NETWORK UPGRADES TO JEFFERSON COUNTY
Expansion and Capacity Enhancements Give Better Access to Mobile Internet
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (Feb. 5, 2016) — AT&T* has upgraded its wireless network within
Jefferson County. The improvements include activating 2 new cell towers. People using the
AT&T wireless network in Jefferson County also enjoy several more cell sites where capacity
increased in 2015. That’s thanks to added layers of frequency known as “carriers.” Across
Ohio in 2015, AT&T made more than 680 upgrades to its wireless network.
"I am pleased to see that AT&T continues to invest in Jefferson County,” said State
Representative Jack Cera. “The network upgrades encourage economic development in this
area while supporting the needs of our residents and businesses.”
