1. Having the opportunity to use a Hummingbird Robotics Kit has taught me a few new
skills. I now know how to build a robot using the Hummingbird Robotics Kit and how to use the
software that makes the robot move. I found it interesting that many of the parts that were
included in the kit are used in everyday items such as cell phones and paper towel dispensers. I
also enjoyed working with a partner. It gave me the opportunity to get to know someone else.
Working with a partner also made the robot easier to build even though it was a bit frustrating at
times when things did not go as planned. Coming up with an idea for a robot was somewhat of
an easy task, but building the robot and making everything move was not an easy task. Building
the robot and applying the correct parts of the Hummingbird Robotics Kit took a lot of thought
and time. Overall, the experience of getting to build a robot was amazing and was probably a
once in a lifetime thing.
