Many professionals are faced with the challenge of balancing their busy work lives and caring for their spouse, children and aging family members. A deeper understanding of elder care issues is an important way to prepare for and protect the health and financial well-being of family members. The seminar, “Sandwiched In: Strategies for balancing elder care and your career,” raises awareness to salient elder care issues and better prepares you for their future caregiving responsibilities by teaching the strategies necessary to be an effective caregiver. In this workshop, Savastano presents important prevention directives and tactics that empower participants to be proactive and efficient in order to achieve the best care and quality of life for themselves and aging loved ones.
