How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

2. Digi-Pack To the right hand side there are various pictures
that were used for the back cover of our digi-pack.
We used different effects that make the photo look
that of a photo which has a higher quality. We tried
to make the digi-pack link to the music video with
the effects that we used. In our track listing we
used a similar effect with the outline of the actor
and the background image.
We have incorporated the
background and the track
listing together which gives
a good effect and keeps the
same sort of genre
throughout the CD and
Digi-pack cover. The
darkness of the CD cover is
linked with our video
because the majority of the
video is set in the dark.

3. Digi-Pack Track list
For our track list we used the same design
from the digi-pack. But for the track list we
made it more or a rectangle shape then a
square shape. For the changes All we have
done is edited it so that it fits a CD case and I
have added a bar code and the website where
the public can find out information about
Chris Baxter.
The track listing is extremely clear for clients
and customers to read. It is in a white font
because it is the easiest font to read when
you have a background color of white. We
made the font nice and bold too to make sure
it stands out

4. Advert cover
To the right hand side is the two advert covers that we
were going to use, the cover that is at the bottom is the
final piece that we used, where as the on at the top is the
one that we drafted, and got feedback on, we amended
this feedback to make the one on the bottom. The one on
the bottom looks a lot better is at has the album cover and
where it is being sold too.
As you can see I have tried to interlink the advert cover
with the album cover and digi-pack with the black
background and the colorful writing which is extremely
distinctive and stands out well to the reader. This is also
very similar to the ones that is used from Kanye West for
his cover of the song

5. Album Cover
This is our album cover, we had a various
amounts of different varieties that we could of
used and we ended up using this one. We
decided to use this one because we felt that this
one had the clearest writing and the actor (Chris
Baxter) looked the sharpest in the picture. Also
the contrast of the white and black in the face
and shirt works really well and looks classy.
To the left is a collection of all the
possible album covers that we could
of used. As you can see we had a lot
to choose from and choosing the right
one was difficult, but with the help of
feedback taken from facebook and our
class mates we were able to make the
best choice.
