• 51.03%(n=133) of the respondents scored above the mean score on the
OSI indicating high levels of occupational stress.
• The study shows that higher occupational stress is resulted due to
heavy workload .
• The top three facets which were found to be satisfactory by the
respondents were; peers in present job, Job in general and work in
present job.
• both instruments used in this study indicated Cronbach’s alpha values
greater than .80 indicating good internal consistency and could be seen
to be more reliable.

honesty and how they perceived their attitudes towards the variables used in
this study.
• These findings are not a prediction of the actual study to be conducted but
the data will be useful when developing a research hypothesis for the study.
