NED Bank is a subsidiary of Bancshares, Inc. it is a $242 billion in assets and the 6th
largest
commercial bank in the South Africa. The company provides a comprehensive line of banking,
breakage, insurance, investment, mortgage, trust, retail, commercial and financial products and
payment services products to consumers. The bank needs to build data warehousing and the purpose
of the implementation is to understand the trends, performance and customer analysis of the bank.
Subject areas covered in the warehouse are accounts like Savings bank account, Current account,
Loan Account and Over Draft Account.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in requirements gathering and source data analysis and identified business rules for
developing data warehouse data marts.
• Involved in identifying the data inputs from various source systems depending upon the
business requirement.
• Created source to target mapping documents from staging area to Data Warehouse and from
Data Warehouse to various Data Marts.
• Used DataStage Designer for developing various jobs to extract, cleansing, transforming,
integrating and loading data into Data Warehouse.
• Used DataStage Director to schedule running the jobs, monitoring scheduling and validating
its components

Description:
Avis Car Travels is an automobile company producing vehicles in America and other countries.
Across the world it has many plants producing components and vehicles. This project deals with
the plants based in America. This project is used to analyse the cost incurred in producing the
components and vehicles. These estimations will be calculated by using metrics like volume,
hours, headcount and indirect material. The reports designed include daily, weekly and monthly
scorecards and trend charts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Involved in Analysing the Mapping Documents and maintaining the Issue Register to get
coordinated with Client
• Developed Reusable components which can be used across the project
• Had hands in altering the Configuration file based on the environmental settings
• Handling all types of Source files viz.Flatfiles with De-limiters, Fixed width files and Files with
multiple delimiters
• Develop transformation for various complex logics taking performance and partitions in to
account
• Involved in preparing the test scenarios for UNIT testing.
