1. Sound Effects and Editing them in…
There are a few moments within our short film where we wanted various items and
ideas to be expressed to the audience in a more dramatic and viewable way. We did
this by importing sound effects from copyright free websites.
One of the moments that we wanted to express more meaning behind was the shot of
the car with flashing hazards…
We downloaded the sound of a cars
brakes screeching from a copyright free
website. We then used this to
emphasise the fact that there was a car
crash.
The image on the right shows a shot of a
hospital bed, the sound layer on this shot
consists of ambient sound and also a sound
effect of a heart monitor machine eventually
reaching a constant pitch line, pronouncing
death.
