This film will sell due to the growing popularity
of the horror genre as well as the up and
coming Halloween season.
4. Outline of ‘Split’
A teenage girl called Rosie was born with a demonic possessor inside her who
over the years has slowly taken over her body. As she is going through puberty,
the demon is consuming her faster than before in her transition into an adult.
Alone at school and a target of bullying, she turns to nobody and battles the
demon by herself with little control. After the demon takes over entirely, Rosie
starts to kill people who made her life hard around the village. A priest
exorcises her, saving her and removing the demon. After the demon is
removed Rosie feels so strange as she was so used to it being there and so
alone, she commits suicide in the woods where she committed all her murders.
5. Outline of Opening Titles
Shot of a clock, with Rosie’s face
demonstrating both halfs of her persona, and
gradually symbolising the change through
makeup changes. Kids in the woods singing
‘Ring a ring a roses’. Checks her phone for time
(2.59am) she drops it when it hits 3am and runs
away. By using a montage of clips in the woods
with blood on her hands, etc.
