1. Article of time management – How do great leaders
manage their time so effectively
I wanted to write an article of time management which explained why I am now
almost obsessive about implementing effective time management. Click here to see the

Ever wondered why some people seem to have loads of time even though they have loads to
do, whilst others struggle to complete a small number of tasks.
I used to be one of that second category always struggling to meet deadlines and there never
seemed to be enough hours in the day for me to complete all my tasks, be those work related or
personal. One summer many years ago I decided to approach my boss, he owned his own
company, had 5 kids but always seemed to have loads of time to indulge his passions for
golf, socializing and spending time with his family. He was a great leader but more importantly
for me he seemed to have some time management techniques which I felt could help me. So I
asked him if I could spend some time shadowing him so I could get a better insight into the
business, one of my key objectives was to find out how he managed his time so efficiently
That request was the best thing I ever did and changed my career for ever , It allowed me to
move into Director level positions and then set up my own successful business. How , simply by

A good time manager is thought to be a great leader. How come? Because they take the
