10. Q: Do I have to mail all documents?
A: Official transcript must be sent via postal
mail. Other documents such as Health History
Form can be scanned and emailed to address
specified on forms.

11. Q: How do I get from the airport to PLU?
A: Seattle Tacoma International Airport is about
40 minutes by car to PLU Campus!
Arrange a personal airport-pick up service or
shuttle in advance!
12. Q: Can I move in earlier than August 31?
We ask students with on-campus housing to
move in on either Sunday, August 31 or
Monday, September 1st. If you have difficulty
moving in on these days, please email
iss@plu.edu explaning your particulat situation!
13. Q: What’s the weather like?
A: In the puget sound region of Washington
state, you can experience four seasons. We
only get several days of really hot weather or
snow. You will need variety of clothing and
shoes. It will be handy to have a waterproof
jacket with a hood and a pair of waterproof
shoes/boots. People here also tend to dress in
layers and very casual on campus.
14. Q: Does my on-campus room comes w/ linens?
A: Your room will be furnished with a bed, a
mattress, a desk and shelvings but otherwise
empty! Please arrange your own linens
including bedding sheets, comforters, pillows,
towels, etc…
